Chapter 232
SONIA’S POV
I lifted the veil off my face, as I stared at the body of my father in his grave.
Closing my eyes, I said my prayers, but my mind wouldn’t stop replaying how he died.
“Yield!” Ramon growled.
He was too stubborn. He wouldn’t yield. Instead, right in our faces, he moved his body forward, so Ramon’s claws could dig deeper.
It didn’t take long for life to drain completely out of him.
I held him as Ramon left him, and just before his body could touch the ground.
“Father!” I cried, but it was too late. He was gone.
I blinked, and I was back to staring at the lifeless body of my father.
I felt a hand behind me, and turned to see all of my brothers surrounding me.
Although they had once been closer to him, I had begged them to attend his funeral.
They never wanted to. Seeing them brought more tears to my eyes.
I turned around, and they all pulled me into their arms.
Later that evening, I walked into Bloodmoon to hand over the healing potion I made for its wolves.
Cade, and Wolf came with me. For some reason, they wanted to talk to Ramon.
When we arrived at the tent that was set up for the injured wolves, Ramon stepped out to meet us.
Tension suddenly filled the air. I didn’t know what was going to happen next.
Once more, I was thrown back to that bloody day.
When Ramon had finally pulled me away from my father’s lifeless body, we returned to see my brothers had returned.
They had felt the second my father’s life left him.
It automatically meant Cade was the new alpha.
The second he growled, the warriors of Silverpaw began to drop to their knees in reverence.
A new regime had begun, and Cade was the alpha of Silverpaw now.
“I wanted to apologize to you on behalf of my father,” Cade cleared his throat, and began.
Shocked, I pretended not to hear, as I administered the potion to the injured wolves, together with Ivy.
“You don’t have to do that. You didn’t offend me,” he replied.

“Just take the damn apology,” Wolf said. But after a sharp look from Cade, he cleared his throat, and tried again. “Look, I don’t like you because of how you treated my sister in favour of that whore. But I heard the entire story, and you somehow managed to redeem yourself. Regardless, you’re an honourable alpha, and you deserve some respect. So on behalf of our father, we’re sorry,” he said sincerely.
Ramon smiled, and it made me smile too.
“Thank you,” he said.
“And as for your relationship with my sister, I just want to let you know that we’re not going to be interfering. It’s left to her if she wants to go back to you,” Cade said reasonably.
I was super proud of my brothers. I loved them with all my heart.

“That seems fair,” Ramon replied.
“Now that we’re done here, can we go find the girl Jed got pregnant? Why’s everyone in this family either pregnant, or getting someone pregnant?”
Wolf hissed.
“You should get someone pregnant too. We have a lot of beautiful ladies here at Bloodmoon,” Ivy said.
I laughed as the three turned to look at us.
“Having a sister must be tough, right?” Cade asked in a teasing tone.
“Tell me about it,” Ramon replied.
Ivy and I exchanged looks, and burst out laughing.
We continued our treatment, turning our backs on the men.
At night, it was time to leave bloodmoon for good.
It had been an entire week since the battle occurred.
I had slept in bloodmoon only because Ivy was the only one that could understand my pain.
But throughout, I made sure to stay away from Ramon.
I was packing my bags when I felt a presence behind me.
As I turned to check out who it was, my stomach kicked.
It was as if Ramon felt the kick. He looked down at my stomach.
“He’s healthy,” he said, and smiled.
“How do you know it’s a he?” I lifted my brow.
“I just know,” he replied.
“What do you want, Ramon?” I asked, returning to packing.
“I asked Wolf what he did to Lorena. He still refused to spill. But he did mention she lost the baby. What do you think he did to her?”
My mind instantly went to Freya. Wolf had made her a replica of a dog.
Knowing how brutal wolf could be, I didn’t envy Lorena.
“I don’t know. But if you care so much, beg him to tell you.”
I didn’t feel him creep up on me, until I felt his touch on my arm.
With a start, I turned to see him before me.
“I only talked about Lorena because I’m glad she’s out of our lives for good. Can’t you see how hard I’m trying to earn your forgiveness, Sonia?” “Why?” I whispered, heavily confused.
“Because you’re my mate. The mother of my child. The one the moon goddess chose for me.”
“Yeah, right,” I laughed bitterly. “It didn’t work out with Lorena, so now you remember the–”
He kissed me, and I instantly lost my ability to think.
When he pulled his lips away, I was left speechless.
Right in front of me, he dropped to his knees, and kissed my belly.
My baby jumped, as if he was welcoming his father.

Chapter 232
“I’m sorry, Sonia. I shouldn’t have pushed you away, as hard as I did. I love you. I love you, Sonia. Not anyone else, but you,” he confessed.
I closed my eyes, as a single tear rolled out of it.
“All I’ve been trying to do is make up for everything bad I put you through. It would take an eternity to make it right, and even that wouldn’t still be enough. Forgive me?”
I felt my wolf kick, and smiled through the tears.
I knew she returned after the emotions that left me stumbling into the tussle between Ramon, and my father.
However, I didn’t want to rejoice yet, just in case she left again.
“Do you forgive me? Are you going to be my Luna?” He asked, looking up at me with hope in his beautiful eyes.
I reached out and touched his face.
“Well it’s not everyday a proud Alpha kneels to ask for one’s forgiveness. What kind of person would I be not to oblige?”
He smiled, and rose to his feet. Sweeping me in his arms, he carried me to the bed, and laid me on it.
“Consider this proud alpha the happiest wolf in the world.”
“Oh really?” I giggled.
He kissed me again, and my wolf purred in acceptance.
“She’s back,” he whispered.
“She’s always giddy around you,” I whispered back.
“Good, because both I and my wolf love you and your wolf.”
I smiled shyly, and buried my face to the side before I could reply.
“I love you too, Alpha Ramon.”
He laughed, as he pulled me to face him. “So you’ll be my Luna?”
“Gladly,” I replied.
He kissed me, and this time, his kiss held a promise that would stand the test of time.
