The next day, I slept until the afternoon.

As I opened my bedroom door, Chloe was also opening her bedroom door, wearing pajamas.

Jack came over with a bowl of noodles and eggs.
“My dear sister has no right to judge others. I was only 17 when I started following you–you’re the shameless one.”

“My little brother seems to feel mistreated?” Chloe muttered.
“What’s he complaining about? This morning he just asked me to drink warm milk and I didn’t, that’s all.”

“Can I ride in your sports car?”
Jasper glanced at Jack.
“Can your boyfriend drive?”
“He can.”
Jack stood nearby looking pitiful.
“Can I come too?”

He was holding a large bouquet of roses, and when he saw me, he rushed over.
“Sara, Happy New Year! In this new year, let’s forget all the unpleasant things from the past and start a new life together.”
