My dad couldn’t afford everything.
My mom was stressed.

It’s not a lot, but I hope it can help.”

“I can’t get a job because of my face. If I
could, I could send the money to the family
and help you out.”
I was too nice.
Mom hugged me.

Then, she told Jake to give her his bank card.
“Ashley’s helping the family, and you’re her
brother. So, you can give us your money too!”

Next, I borrowed 1000 dollars from online
lenders and gave it to my parents.
“I live here, so I should pay.” I said, “But I
can’t get a job and I have bad credit, so I
can’t borrow too much money.”
My mom’s eyes lit up. “Jake has a job! He
lives here, so he should pay too!”

Tiffany spent everything in a couple of
months and asked for more money.
Jake asked, “100,000, and she spent
everything already? What does she need all
that money for?”

banks to open credit cards.
I went too, but I had bad credit, so I couldn’t
get any.
The money went to Tiffany.
Jake got a lot of bills.
As he got a lot of calls from banks and
collectors, he started to get less money.
He got mad.
“Why am I the only one helping?”
