Thank God, no one was in the hallway, I didn’t want anyone to witness my walk of shame. If Hayden had a room here at Daniel’s place, then Dylan does too. I went to the first door of my right, knocking softly.

I went down the stairs and was surprised at how near it was; it was like nothing happened. Everything was clean and tidy. I quickly walked out of the door to Maddie’s car and waited for her to come outside. My eyes mamed the street, and my head was killing me. I definitely need a painkiller for this
Turning to stare back at the house, taking in the outer view. It was magnificent. I knew the trio were from a rich and influential family, but from the linde information I got from Maddie, Hayden’s parents seem more well–off than the other two, despite how rich Daniel and Dylan’s parents were,
I continued to take in the view of the house when my eyes caught sight of someone staring out of the window, looking directly at me. My heart stopped when I realised who it was.

Pretending not to have seen him, I turned my gaze. I at the sound of the front door opening and Maddie coming outside.

We got into the car, and Maddie drove off. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding, looking out the car window in the direction of the house to see him still staring as we drove off the street.
“Where were you yesterday? I was looking for you.” Maddie asked, and I turned to look at her.
“Just around the house.” I answered, shrugging a little and trying not to look affected by her question.
“I doubt that” she replied with a sly smirk on her lips.
