HAYDEN’S POV
I was nervous about Bree’s response to my feelings. I know I still had three more days until the game, but that didn’t stop my heart from racing. I had told her I would let her know if she decided that I wasn’t worth being with, but would I be able to do that! It’s been years, and yet I’m not able to gel over her.
I was currently at the field, practicing for the game on Friday. I looked at the rest of my teammates as they ran laps around the field. I know it was petty thing to do, but I had warned them that Bree was off limit. I didn’t want any of them close to her except for Dylan and Daniel because I knew they didn’t feel that way about her.

We got up from the benches, making our way back to the field. We did a litle bit of warm–up before we started the second round of practice. We practiced for some time, running around the field and even playing amongst ourselves.
After two hours of intense practice, we decided to call it a day. The rest of the team went back to the boys locker room to shower and dress up, but I had to stay back because the coach wanted to see

My footsteps were echoing through the school as I made my way to the locker mom to freshen up and change out of my sweaty clothes. I got to n destination and got out of my clothes, stepping into the shower.

My eyes slowly trailed up, meeting that of Sophie, standing in front of me half naked. She had a sly smile on her face, twirling her hair with her finger. Probably trying to look seductive.
