Chapter 2
“Sleepwell?” Cameron inquired, his gaze warm with genuine concern.
Callie pushed the coffee towards Cameron, her eyes meeting his “Cam, I’ve decided. Let’s hit Mandora University first. It’s where we’ve got all those memories…”
As she spoke, tears traced paths down her cheeks. She quickly turned away, dabbing at her eyes, then faced Cameron again. putting on a brave front.
Cameron’s brow furrowed. Seeing Callic wipe away her tears, he was momentarily lost in thoughts of Yanina, whose tearful gaze he once knew so well… It had been three months since their divorce.
“Cam?” Callie’s soft voice called out, noticing his distant look, her eyes brimming with worry.
Snapping out of it, Cameron said. “Callie, just focus on your treatment with the doctor. Your dreams, they’ll happen.”
“Got it. Callie replied with a small, gentle smile, as she turned to leave the office. But then, her eyes landed on a photo of the female streamer CrimsonSnow on the desk. Her eyes bulged, and her heart did a little skip.
Meanwhile–CrimsonSnow, the female streamer, was live on camera, dressed in a cotton dress, sitting in front of her lens. A rusty pot was on display in the product section of her stream.
“Don’t buy this pot, folks. The bottom’s rusted, it’s a dud,” Yanina warned, shaking her head and pointing at the iron pot she held. She turned the pot to show the camera, the thick rust at the bottom clearly visible.
But her warning seemed to fall on deaf ears as orders flooded in backstage. The live stream chat was oddly in sync.
[This pot is good for your diet, buy it!!!]
[If she says don’t buy, we should definitely buy it!]
“Next up, Sunset Orange Juice, Yanina announced, lifting a can of juice. She addressed her livestream audience in a playful tone. “To be honest, it’s pretty sour. Not a fan.”
Yet, the viewers didn’t heed her caution.
[Sunset Orange Juice, pure fruit juice, no additives, low sugar, a real treat! Go grab it!]
[If the streamer says not to buy it, then you definitely should!]
[Order placed! Ship quickly, please…]
Yamuna was taken aback. Despite her pleas not to send gifts or nuke purchases, the deluge of gifts and new orders continued unabated, leaving her bewildered. The comment section was alazz with praise for her.
CrimsonSnow is both beautiful and kind. Every product she recommends is top–notch.]
We re just here for CrimsonSnow. The products don’t really maner.]
[Crimson Snow, I’ll send you a sports car gift if you smile for us, okay?]
The live stream was a cacophony of comments, and gifts filled the screen. But no matter the gifts, they couldn’t sway the
woman on the stream.
CrimsonSnow was like the detached and serene lady from the novels, pure and composed. Viewers showered her with gifts and bought items, all in the hope of seeing her smile.

At Westshine Cafe. Yetta Clark gushed, “Yani, you’re out of this world! You’ve racked up a million new followers and sold over five million items today. You’re the talk of the live streaming town!” She looked at Yanina with stars in her eyes, barely holding back from planting a kiss on her.
Yanina just smiled softly, her face serene as she took in the praise.
Yetta, noticing Yanina’s calm, sighed dramatically, propping her chin on her hand. “Right, you turned down a fortune in stocks. So why sweat the livestream numbers, right?”
“Those stocks weren’t for me. Yanina replied, her tone resolute.
“Easy for you to say,” Yetta huffed. You two split because he was a cheat. You could’ve taken him to court, scored half of everything. But no, you walked away clean. What a waste! If it were me, I’d have- She cut herself off, her face flushing red as she suddenly noticed something.
Cameron and Zak had silently appeared behind Yanina, their expressions thunderous, eyes boring into Yetta.
“What’s up?” Yanina asked, catching Yetta’s sudden freeze and the look over her shoulder. She turned to see Cameron, her smile vanishing.
Zak let out a sigh, shaking his head at the scene. He approached Yetta, gently steering her out of the coffee shop, leaving Cameron and Yanina to talk in private.
Cameron’s eyes were icy as he confronted Yanina. “Why’d you return the shares?” he demanded, his voice as cold as winter.
Yanina gave Cameron a look. He seemed thinner since the last time they met a few months ago. Considering he had been busy taking care of his ill lover, it was no surprise he’d lost some weight.
Yanina set her coffee cup down gently. “We’re divorced now. What’s the point of rehashing this?” She made to leave, but a firm hand clamped onto her wrist. “Let go!” she snapped.
Cameron, defiant, only gripped tighter. The divorce was legit. You don’t owe me anything, and I don’t owe you. No need for charity. The 5% shares are a paid deal, and Zak will transfer the money,” he stated, his voice a frozen river.
Yanina stopped struggling, meeting his gaze steadily. “Fine, we’ll do it your way. Now, can you let me go?”
Almost in a trance, he used his grandpa as a reason, hoping it might persuade Yanina to stay. “Not a chance, Cameron retorted, sure that she’d bolt at the first opportunity. “What do I tell my grandpa when he asks why we’re splitting up?”
Yanina shook her head, a soft laugh escaping her. “T’ll tell him it was my decision, that it’s not your fault, and that I suggested the share transfer Satisfied? Now, let me go.”
Cameron held on, at a loss for words, clinging to her hand.
“Cam? What’s going on? Callie sauntered into the café, a bouquet of white daisies in hand, her gaze flicking between
Cameron and Yanina.
