Unable to handle his hunger any longer, Charlie knelt on the ground and begged. “Callie, please! I need some money! I’m really going to starve!”
Callie shot him a cold smirk, her smile chilling. “If it were that easy for you to starve, it wouldn’t be enough punishment,” she replied, rage filling her eyes.
The memories of her suffering in Borealis flooded back, and she wished she could make Charlie pay a thousand times over.
She opened her wallet, pulled out a few hundred dollars, and tossed it on the ground. “Take the money and get lost!”
She couldn’t let Charlie die–he had to live to repay the pain she endured.
Charlie picked up the cash, shaking. “Take care of yourself. I’ll check in on you in a few days. He hurried away, not looking
back.
Callie snorted, her expression softening as he left. Moments later, Cameron arrived, carrying a bouquet of white daisies.
“Callie,” he greeted warmly.
Callie spun around in excitement, but her legs wobbled, and Cameron rushed to steady her.
“Careful! You shouldn’t be making sudden moves right now,” he said, concern etching his features.
As Callie opened her mouth to speak, she suddenly noticed a bloodstain on Cameron’s right hand. “Cam, what happened to your hand?” she asked, worry creeping into her voice.
He instinctively pulled back. “It’s nothing. Just a little accident.”
He was actually hiding the fact that he had punched Shawn earlier and scraped his skin against the wall.
Callic noticed Cameron stepping back, her hand hesitating in the air, her eyes dimming.
Since she returned home, he had busied himself with doctors and hospitals but hadn’t touched her at all. She wondered if she really was less desirable than Yanina..
“Cam, I had a nightmare last night. I dreamt I was back in Borealis, trapped in that nightmare again, Callie said, tears. streaming down her cheeks.
Cameron smiled gently to comfort her, “Don’t worry. As long as I’m here, I won’t let you go back there.”
“But what if you’re not around?” Callie said, hugging him tightly from behind.
She added, “Cam, I really regret trusting my uncle. If I had stayed by your side… our child might be able to walk by now.
“I only have three years left, and all I want is to be with you and leave something behind in this world. Will you help me with that? Her hand started to move upward.
“Callie,” Cameron said, gently lowering her hand. “Once we’re back from Mandora University, you need to follow the doctor’s advice and take care of your health. Don’t lose hope. Trust me

“You should be the one stepping aside! Shawn!” Cameron said, and without thinking, he swung at ShawnTI.
Shawn evaded Cameron’s hand easily, almost as if he had anticipated the move.
“If you want to throw punches, take it outside. This is my house, Yanina said firmly, arms crossed, a cold stare locking onto both men.
“Let’s just talk this out. No need for fighting!” Yetta rushed in, panic in her eyes. She silently prayed, ‘Please, if there’s a fight, don’t hit Shawn’s face. What if it messes up my idol’s looks?”
Ignoring the chaos around her, Yanina moved to the door, taking the takeout bag. She glanced back at Cameron and asked, “Aren’t you leaving, Mr. Zamora?”
Cameron shot a fierce glare at everyone in the room before turning on his heel and walking away, not looking back.
Meanwhile, at a nursing home, Callie was watering the flowers when a shabby old man approached the door, a sycophantic smile plastered on his face. It was Charlie Bain, Callie’s uncle.
“Callie,” he said sweetly. “I’m helpless. Please, a little money would go a long way–I just need enough for a piece of bread.

Callie nodded, though her tears soaked Cameron’s shirt. “Okay, I believe you.”
“We’re flying to Mandora tomorrow, but for today, I want to check out Yvale’s night market. I haven’t been there yet,” she added? her eyes lighting up.
Cameron’s heart raced, he instinctively wanted to say no. But when he looked at her frail form, he couldn’t deny her this
moment.
Π
Meanwhile, at Yvale’s night market. Yanina had been invited by the local city government to broadcast live and promote the night market.
To keep a low profile, she dressed casually, wearing sunglasses and a mask to hide her identity as the recent sensation
“CrimsonSnow.”
Standing in front of a stuffed bell pepper stall, she carefully opened the package of food.
The stuffing is really generous here–dried scallops, small abalones, pork belly, mushrooms, and a quarter of a marinated egg. It’s a bit salty, so if you prefer lighter flavors, this might not be for you.”
As she removed the outer layer of the stuffed bell pepper and wanted to have a taste, she paused, her eye caught by two familiar figures.
In the distance. Callie held onto Cameron’s sleeve with one hand while excitedly pointing at the stuffed bell pepper stall. They were laughing and chatting as they walked right past Yanina
“Yvale stuffed bell peppers, my favorite!” Callie’s voice rang out, cutting through the noise.
Yanina frowned slightly and took a bite of her own stuffed bell pepper. She turned to the camera and said, “Everyone’s seen the stuffed bell peppers. Let’s check out what other surprises the night market has.”
With that, she stood up and started to leave.
“Ms. Fulbright? Is that you?” Callie’s voice called out, stopping her in her tracks.
Before Yanina could respond, Callie approached her with a bright smile. I didn’t expect to see you here.”
Now that Callie had recognized her, Yanina felt she couldn’t just ignore her. She reached out and gave a polite wave. “I’m working, so I won’t take up any more of your time.”
After Yanina finished speaking, without sparing a glance at Cameron, she walked off with the staff.
The viewers started to flood the comments section.
[Is the stuffed bell pepper good or what? Why only one bite? Take more and show us!]
[Stop being an advertisement. Is it good or not? How much are you getting paid for this?]
[Finding a streamer who tells the truth is getting harder these days.]
[CrimsonSnow, show some enthusiasm for your fans! I feel let down after all the support I’ve given you.]
Yanina calmly replied as she scanned the comments. “Everyone has their own tastes. Like the Yvale stuffed bell pepper I just tried–I don’t like it, but that lady loves it.
“If you want to know if these dishes suit your taste, come to Yvale and try them yourself. And just to clarify, I’ve known that lady before. She’s not one of my fans.”
As she passed a stall selling stir–fried dishes, the owner, Mix, eagerly grabbed Yanina’s hand. “CrimsonSnow! I’m your super fan! I’m watching your live stream. Come on in and try my cooking”

It was tough to say no, to Yanina moved to a small table next to the stall and sat down. Before long. Mia brought out her signature dishes.
“The colors and smells are fantastic! Let’s see how it tastes. I don’t usually eat street food, so please forgive me if my review
isn’t spot on.”
As soon as Yanina finished speaking, the comments exploded.
[Live streaming pays well, so of course you stick to fancy restaurants.]
[I heard popular streamers are just vampires sucking money from fans to support their lavish lives…]
But true fans sprang into Yanina’s defense.
[Don’t talk nonsense! Yesterday. CrimsonSnow donated several million to the kids in the mountains!]
[If you can’t make it, quit hating! Not everyone can have millions of fans.]
Used to this kind of bickering. Yanina took a bite of the bacon stir–fried smoked asparagus and nodded. “This tastes good. If you come to Yvale, definitely try this snack.”
Next up was stir–fried clams with leek. She nodded again. The clams are fresh and taste good too.”
All four dishes seemed to receive positive feedback from her. However, careful fans noted that she never actually said “delicious
Mia was clearly disappointed. She hoped for a glowing review to boost her business, but Yanina’s comments fell flat.
“Are these dishes not to your taste, Ms. CrimsonSnow? Mia asked
“Not like that. Everyone’s tastes are different, I usually prefer cooking at home because then I can make what I really like.”
Mia wouldn’t back down. “But you can’t say my food isn’t delicious!
Tm the best–selling stir–fry stall owner at this night market–my stir–fried chicken goes fast!”
“I didn’t say your food isn’t delicious,” Yanina frowned slightly.
Mia continued, “But you didn’t say it was delicious either. Doesn’t that mean it isn’t delicious!
“What kind of taste are you talking about? Even people who feast on royal banquets should enjoy this place!” Mia pressed for Yanina to say it was delicious.
Yanina shook her head, exasperated. “I never lie during my streams. Sorry.”
Her words stirred up even more reactions, drawing a crowd to the stall.
“Crimson Snow, I’ve had food from here, and it’s great! The owner deserves praise. Just tell the truth
“Come on, it must be the owner didn’t pay you, and you’re just trying to get back ather
“You never lie? I’m not buying it!”
Just pay her, madam. And do it in private, or the camera might expose you
“Didn’t you say you cooked at home? You think you’re better than everyone? Show us how it’s done.”
“CrimsonSnow, Just show us what kind of food you think is delicious now,”
