Zak sighed, realizing that getting a raise wouldn’t be easy, “Got it, boss.”
None of these tasks was easy,
Suddenly, she heard a knock on the door.
Callie thought it was Cameron so she quickly fixed her makeup, trying to look frail and appealing. Then she opened the door.
But she only saw a middle–aged woman who looked like a housekeeper.
The woman said, “Hello, Ms. Stark, I’m a shopping consultant hired by Mr. Zamora. Here’s our schedule today. Do you have any special requests”
Before the shopping consultant could finish speaking. Callie slarumed the door shut.
She thought, ‘Cameron hires a consultant for me? He is not coming?

Is he purposely avoiding me because of what happened last night?

Thinking about this, Callie calmed down and opened the door again.
She pushed away the shopping consultant, went to Cameron’s room, and pressed the doorbell.
But after ringing it a few times, she still received no response.

“Where is he? It’s early in the morning.
The carpet cleaner greeted Callie politely.
He said, “Ma’am, Mr. Zamora moved to a room on the 12th floonearly this morning.”
Callie’s heart jolted. She thought, “He didn’t even tell me!

She swallowed her anger and took the elevator down from the lath floor to the 12th floor.
She decided to find Cameron, admit her mistake, and ask for his forgiveness.
But when she arrived at the 12th floor, she saw Cameron knock on a door holding a bunch of white gladiolus flowers.
She was shocked. She thought, Who is in that room?”
Thinking about this, she hid behind a wall, observing the hallway carefully.
Cameron knocked on the door for a long time but no one opened the door. He wasn’t annoyed. He just kept gently knocking
on the door.
Finally, the door was opened. Someone stunningly beautiful walked out. There was a tiny mole in the middle of her

Then Yanina slammed the door shut with a loud bang.
Cameron looked at the broken gladiolus flowers in the crack between the door and its flame, recalling how she looked when she picked up the bow and arrow.
He found Yanina more and more captivating, which was utterly irresistible.
Cameron was about to leave when he saw a familiar figure walking closer to her.
Shawn looked at Cameron with a playful smile. “Have you had breakfast this morning, Mr. Zamora? Why did you come here so early!”

He said, “She’s my wife! I can do whatever I want.

Calmly, Cameron started hanging the gladiolus flowers one by one on the doorplate.

Just as Shawn was about to go back to his room, Callie suddenly walked toward him.
Callie smiled, “Mr. Haney, can I have a word with you?”
Shawn acted like he didn’t see her and walked right into the elevator.
Callie wasn’t bothered at all. She had done everything she could to survive in Borealis after all.
