Chapter 100
Yanina smiled slightly. Tm going to have some fish.”
I almost forgot you used to be a Wanona girl. I guess I’ll have to join you for some authentic Wanona cuisine for dinner.” Cameron said with a laugh.
Yanina sighed. She had hoped to shake Cameron off during this outing, but it was proving difficult.
Since she couldn’t get rid of him, she had no choice but to temporarily accept his presence.
Putting aside the unpleasantness of their marriage, they had been friends for many years.
“Sure, but we have to lay down some ground rules,” Yanina said, raising three fingers.
“Forget about three rules. I’d be fine with thirty. Cameron chuckled..
Yanina looked up at Cameron. Time had hardly left any marks on his face. He still looked just like he always had. “First, no taking advantage of me while Mr. Zamora is around. Second, I need to go back to my hometown, and you have to help me sneak out for half a day while we’re in Barcombe. Third, I’ve forgotten what I wanted to say. I’ll remember later.”
“Sounds good, but what do you need to go back for?” Cameron asked, puzzled.
He knew Yanina’s background wasn’t simple, which was why Carl had repeatedly warned her against going back. He was concerned that this trip might bring trouble or danger to her.
I’m looking for a remedy to treat Yetta’s scar, Yanina explained,
Cameron nodded. “No problem.”
“I’ll treat you to dinner. Think of it as a reward for helping me,” Yanina added.
Cameron nodded again. “Ill go get the car.”
Cameron drove Yanina to the hotel entrance, where the doorman handed him the car keys.
Coincidentally, the two girls they had run into earlier were also staying at this hotel, and they happened to spot Cameron and Yanina as they were picking up the car.
One of the girls, named Chloe Walker, couldn’t help but gawk at the scene, mentally calculating Cameron’s background.
“This guy drives Rolls Royce. And judging by the plates, it’s a car from Yvale. What’s his story?”
“Didn’t Gavin say that guy was his cousin?”
Do
you really believe him? But Cavin’s connections…”
Chloe left her sentence hanging.
This guy was clearly either rich or influential.
Meanwhile, under Yanina’s direction, Cameron parked the car in front of a restaurant.
They walked in and chose a private room.
Yanina ordered several dishes.
When she requested a plate of Crispy Cajun Crickets, Cameron couldn’t help but frown. “You eat crickets?”

Yanina was noncommittal. This dish is quite famous locally, I ordered it for you.”
Cameron cleared his throat a couple of times, not saying anything.
He had never tried crickets before, but hearing Yanina say she specifically ordered it for him warmed his heart. “Since your ordered it just for me. I’ll definitely try it
Yanina lowered her gaze to hide her amusement.
The dishes arrived at the table quickly.
“I’m not sure what Mr. Zamora likes, but let’s pack a little of everything for him to take home. Even if Mr. Zamora doesn’t eat it, Mr. Miller and the others can have it for a late–night snack Yanina suggested.
Cameron nodded noncommittally.
His attention was entirely on the plate of crickets in front of him
“Go ahead and try it. It’s very expensive and quite nutritious,” Yanina said, picking up a communal spoon, scooping a generous amount, and placing it on Cameron’s plate while watching him with a smile.
Cameron picked up his fork, stared at the crickets on his plate, and forced a smile. He speared the smallest one and brought it close to his nose to smell.
Yanina watched his cautious approach and couldn’t resist adding, “You know, crickets have very specific living conditions, and they’re always fresh before cooking. If they die, you can’t eat them. You could go to the kitchen and see them alive if
you want.”
Cameron clenched his jaw but found himself imagining what the crickets looked like when they were alive, thanks to Yanina’s words.
If he still didn’t realize Yanina was intentionally teasing him at this point, he’d truly be a fool.
“Why don’t you have some too?” Cameron said, putting down his fork and using the spoon to scoop a full helping of crickets into Yanina’s plate.
Yanina turned her head away. “I don’t eat crickets. Not all Wanons people eat bugs. I’m Yvale too. My parents just work here, You’re a grown man. You can’t be scared to eat a cricket, can you?”
Her baiting clearly worked.
Cameron calmly picked up the smallest cricket again and popped it into his mouth, chewing.
“The taste is actually quite good, Cameron said, continuing to eat one cricket after another until he polished off the entire plate.
He finally looked up at Yanina. “It’s like eating durian. The first bite is disgusting, but the flavor keeps you coming back for more. I’ve been to Wanona many times, but this is my first time frying crickets. It makes me feel like all my previous trips were for nothing. And thank you for introducing me to such a delicious dish.
Yanina had originally intended to embarrass Cameron by serving him crickets, but she was surprised that he genuinely enjoyed them and even thanked her in return
All she could do was grit her teeth and say. “You’re welcome.”
Then she slowly went back to her fish.
After they finished their meal, Cameron suggested taking a stroll down the local street.

Yanina remembered she hadn’t done any live streaming today and wanted to record a short video for her fans, so they headed to the local street together.
Even though she was full. Yanina couldn’t resist buying various shacks to take back for Carl and John to try.
After all, the older men weren’t able to come to the bustling city to shop.
When it came to handcrafted items, Yanina found it even harder to control her shopping spree, buying everything in sight.
She interacted with the vendors and recorded plenty of videos.
At that moment. Yanina had no idea that this short video would help make the street popular.
In fact, when she returned a second time, there was even a billboard at the street entrance featuring her name, proclaiming.
The Local Street Loved by CrimsonSnow.”
Of course, these were merely rumors spread by those who failed to win his heart.
Cameron willingly played the pack mule, his arms laden with several bags of all sizes.
On the local street, it wasn’t uncommon for tourists and vendors to recognize Yanina and ask for photos
They spent over three hours exploring a relatively short street.
“Are you sure you want to buy all this stuff? Most of it seems pretty useless, Cameron said as he stowed their bags in the back seat of the car, pulling out a basket adorned with intricate designs.
If I like it, I buy it. That basket can be used for groceries later. Its eco–friendly,” Yanina replied.
Cameron nodded. “Let’s take the food back to the hotel, and I’ll have someone package the crafts and local clothing for the
flight.
“Sounds good.” Yanina agreed. This must be one of the perks of having a private jet
No wonder so many were eyeing the position of Cameron’s wife wealthy, influential, and traveling by private plane.
so woman could refuse such treatment.
