No wonder Cameron attracted girls wherever he went.
With that thought in mind, Yanina glanced at Cameron. He had a sharp jawline, neat short hair, and thick eyebrows. His eyes, though monolid, were deep like a well, complemented by a straight nose and full lips.
Individually, his features might not seem striking, but together, they created an undeniably handsome face.
Even without a wealthy background to back him up, Cameron was simply a charming guy.
“Quite handsome, right?” Cameron caught Yanina’s gaze and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow with a grin.
“Full of yourself. I just want to know when this terrible attitude of yours changed. Yanina shot back, rolling her eyes and falling silent.
Terrible attitude? Cameron smirked to himself. I used to have a pretty bad temper
He started the car without another word, and they quickly made their way back to the hotel.
It was already past eleven, but John was still awake.
Yanina personally handed the packed food to John, reminding him not to eat too much so late at night. The bodyguards on night duty could indulge a bit more..
John nodded in agreement.
When Yanina returned to their room, Cameron was in the shower. There was only one bathroom, located within the bedroom
Yanina considered dropping her bag in the bedroom before heading back to the living room to wait for Cameron.
But just as she set her things down, the bathroom door swung open.
Cameron stood there completely naked, flashing Yanina an apologetic smile. “I didn’t know you were back.”
Yanina’s face instantly flushed red, but she didn’t scream or cover her eyes. After all, they had been married once and had shared even more intimate moments together.
Cameron had a healthy tan, his chest muscles well–defined, complemented by a set of abs that led further down…
Yanina felt her nose getting warm, her cheeks burning, and her entire body heating up.
I was
an instinctive reaction, devoid of romantic feelings.
Cameron was clearly trying to tease her on purpose.
Furing, Yanina turned on her heel and fled to the balcony, settling into a chair.
Cameron quickly grabbed a towel to wrap around his waist, then stepped out to get dressed.
He pulled two bottles of juice from the fridge and approached her on the balcony, twisting open a bottle and handing it to
Yanitia
I really didn’t mean to,” he said, trying to explain
“Stop trying to cover it up. You’re just making excuses now, Yana shot back, uumpressed.

Cameron shrugged innocently. “How about this? When I finish showering, you come out like this and tempt me back. Then we’ll be evCIL”
“Don’t hold your breath.” Yanina replied, taking a sip of the juice and turning to look at Cameron
He had changed into a blue cartoon–themed pajama set.
She had bought those pajamas for him, matching ones for herself in pink…
Yet she clearly remembered Cameron’s face of disdain when he first saw the couple’s sleepwear. She didn’t understand why he was wearing them now.
Taking another big gulp of juice. Yanina reminded herself to stop overthinking it. Our relationship is over. We’re just friends
now
“I’m going to take a shower,” Yanina said, standing up to leave.
Cameron relaxed in his chair, shifting his legs and glancing at the tent formed by his pajama pants with a muted grunt, almost a sigh
Yanina knew Cameron was trying to entice her.
But it was a painful struggle for him too.
She locked the bedroom door and then the bathroom door before starting her shower.
Yet her mind was filled with thoughts of Cameron’s near–perfect physique.
After showering, Yanina checked the time. It was already past midnight. The neon lights outside the hotel still blazed vibrantly, and she could see fireworks in the distance, but her heart felt completely out of sync with the lively atmosphere.
She lay in bed, drifting into a deep sleep, but it wasn’t long before she felt a warm breath by her ear.
Cameron was behind her, holding her close. The warmth of his breath tickled her ear, sending a shiver down her spine, and that sensation quickly spread throughout her body.
Yanina instinctively tried to push him away, but Cameron was surprisingly strong.
One arm wrapped tightly around her waist, while the other felt like it ignited her entire being
Kisses fell like a gentle rain, soft and plentiful, landing on her lips, her neck, and her shoulders.
Gradually, she stopped struggling, surrendering to the moment as she responded to Cameron until they were both utterly exhausted.
Regret, annoyance, and frustration washed over her, and before she knew it, tears streamed down Yanina’s face. She wiped her eyes and suddenly jolted awake from the dream.
Opening her eyes, she found her clothes still in place.
The bedroom door was securely shut. She turned on the light, got out of bed, and took a quick shower.
The night’s vivid dream left no trace behind.
Yanina couldn’t understand why she dreamed of such a scenario, especially casting Cameron as the leading man.
But dreams were something she had no control over.
Lying back down, she found it impossible to sleep again, her mind spinning with thoughts about why she had such a dream.

Chapter 101
It had been over four months since she and Cameron divorced.
At that time, she had kept busy with work and studies. From being a novice in the streaming world to becoming a social media influencer, only she truly understood the effort and hardship it took.
Perhaps she had been too deliberate in trying to forget him, and with Cameron’s teasing today, it had sparked an unexpected reaction.
He had ignited a longing within her for something she thought she had buried.
“Damn you, Cameron,” Yanina muttered under her breath, flipping over in frustration.
She lost track of time and eventually fell back asleep.
The next morning, she woke up to bright daylight, realizing she had overslept, which was unusual for her disciplined
routine.
Yanina pulled back the curtains, wanting to bask in the sunlight
Suddenly, she felt something dart past her feet like a fish slipping through the water.
Startled, she took a few steps back and focused her gaze.
Cameron was swimming in the pool below.
Unbeknownst to Yanina, Cameron had also been awake most of the night and had gone for a swim in the early morning
hours.
She recalled how he had seemingly known she was going for a run yesterday, switching to his running shoes to join her. It turned out he had seen her from below.
That window offered a clear view into her room.
“Asshole,” she cursed out loud. ‘Not only is he spying on me, but he also lured me into that dream, she wondered.
If it weren’t for Carl’s health, she would have packed her bags and returned home to buy a ticket back to Yvale right then and
there.
The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, and she drew the curtains tightly shut.
After washing up and getting dressed, Yanina took a moment to compose herself before heading out to find Carl.
As she opened the door, she spotted John assisting Carl as they walked toward her.
