Chapter 104
Cathy, feeling bored, yawned and went to bed. Chuck was half–asleep on the couch. Only Daniel and Gavin stayed interested in watching. It’s not that either of them was particularly interested in Go, they just both had bets placed! Gavin bet on the black pieces to win, while Daniel bet on the white.
Ten minutes later, Yanina’s white pieces started to take the lead, gradually cornering the black pieces into submission.
“I lost!” Cameron laughed, picking up his captured pieces and puiting them in Yanina’s basket.
The comment section was flooded with a new wave of messages. What an amazing baritone voice! You can tell he’s sexy just from the sound! Show us your faces Brother–in–law of CrimsonSnow, say something else. “CrimsonSnow is so beautiful, and your guy must be super handsome. Don’t let just anyone snatch him away, sis!”
“What an amazing baritone voice! You can tell he’s sexy just from the sound! Show us your face!
Yanina would never let Cameron show his face, and he wouldn’t agree either. She adjusted the camera to focus on herself. Wearing a traditional outfit, she looked vibrant and full of life, causing quite a stir in the stream. Then the top fan sent a flurry of virtual gifts!
“Thank you all for your support and love, the game ends here. I hope today’s match inspired you in some way. Thanks again for tuning in. I’m still on the road, so I won’t continue streaming. “Hope you all have a wonderful day!” Yanina ended the live stream.
Yanina ended the live stream.
Daniel looked at the winning white piece, exhaled lightly, and wrapped an arm around Gavin’s shoulder. “Bro, a bet’s a bet! Don’t forget to bring your old man’s bottle of wine to the next gathering
Gavin, looking as downcast as a withered eggplant, mumbled, “Well, well, got it
Cameron tidied up the board while asking Yanina. “Are you tired? Want to take a nap?” He was exhausted himself, having swurn almost the entire night before, and was barely holding on.
Yanina didn’t sleep well last night either. She tossed and turned for much of the night and felt a bit tired.
Both of them had their own reasons for being extremely tired. But when this came to the attention of Gavin and Daniel, it seemed like a blatant display of affection. Why are they feeling sleepy in the middle of the morning, wanting to sleep? It must have been a late–night battle last night!” Gavin and Daniel thought.
Gavin looked at Cameron with a teasing grin, “My big bro is really impressivel “I’m sleepy too, I need to find my little Cathy.”
Daniel playfully smacked Gavin on the head. “What’s up, rubbing your happiness in my face?” “So what if I am “Bring on the dog food!” Gavin laughed and jokingly chased after Daniel.
Don’t disturb my wife’s rest. Cameron glanced at them, then looked at Yanina with concern.
Gavin whispered, a bit mischievously, into Cameron’s car, I overheard my mom and my aunt talking, they said you guys really got divorced “My aunt even asked my mom to start scouting for a new wife for you! “What’s going on with you two?”
Cameron lowered his eyes and then sneered, “Whether we divorce or not, what business is it of theirs?” Cameron ignored Gavin, grabbed some cold drinks and ice cubes from the fridge, and sat by the bed to drink.
Daniel glanced at Cameron and asked, “Theard Everbright Group is looking to acquire a 300–acre plot in the Yvale New
Area?
Cameron didn’t deny it. “We’re interested, yeali

Daniel raised his eyebrows. I heard that kid Gregory has been pretty active lately, hanging around Julian’s daughter in the
Yvale New Area
Cameron slightly frowned and said, “It’s Julian who’s in charge diis time, not his daughter. “Everyone’s judged by their ability. “You can’t exactly say whoever charms the mayor’s daughter will get the land, right?”
“True, but these things often happen under the table, and now rumors are flying in the area that you and the Julian’s daughter are quite close.” This was a subtle warning to Cameron Daniel was reminding him to be careful about his public interactions with Sophie Foley. Otherwise, rumors could start flying that Cameron only secured the land by wooing the mayor’s daughter.
Cameron nodded, understanding what Daniel meant.
Daniel stopped at that and found a cozy spot to nap.
After more than four hours of bumpy travel, the group finally reached Southfort.
This is a small town on the border between two Asian countries. There’s no fancy hotel, but Cameron had already bought a courtyard–style home and fixed it up a bit before Carl’s arrival.
The van stopped at the entrance of the courtyard. Everyone gathered around Carl in the main living room, chatting and catching up. Despite the tiring journey, the unique border scenery lifted everyone’s spirits.
Carl glanced around the room full of people and smiled a bit. “It’s rare to have such a lively gathering!”
Tll be staying in the eastern room with John. “Yanina, you and Cathy can take the west room. “Let those guys sleep in the east wing!”
Just then, John announced that lunch was ready
Everyone joined Carl for the meal.
After lunch, Carl went for his afternoon nap. Only after that did everyone leave the main house.
“Let’s go check out the town! I’ve never been here before, Cathy suggested.
Gavin wrapped an arm around Cathy’s waist and said excitedly, Yanina, are you coming?”
Yanina gently shook her head, sitting in the patio chair, watching the clouds drift by.
Cameron glanced at Yanina and, seeing she wasn’t in a playful mood, shook his head and stayed with her.
Gavin, Cathy, Daniel, and Chuck headed out to explore the town
Yanina sat quietly, lost in thought. The setup was pretty similar to her old home, with its square layout, a well in the yard. and a skylight in the attic, even the roof tiles were the same. But that house… she could no longer return to it anymore
Cameron knew Yanina was deep in thought, so he sat quietly beside her without saying a word.
After a considerable time, Yanina finally spoke. “Cameron, can still call you brother? Even though you always call me your wife in front of them, we both know that’s in the past, and it’s only for Grandpa’s sake. “I didn’t take it seriously, and I hope you don’t either. “I heard your mom is looking for a girlfriend for you. You should check it out. It’s not good to be single for so long, and Grandpa Carl is hoping for a great–grandchild. Don’t keep delaying
Cameron invested all his emotions in Yanina, only to hear words like these. He couldn’t help but curl his lips into a mocking smile. But the sarcasin was actually directed at himself. He thought, he knew he owed Yanina far too much, but with Callie, it was nothing more than a life–saving deln, not a romantic affair Why couldn’t Yanina just forgive him?”
“Do you really want me to get remarried so soon? Cameron whispered.
