Chapter 97
He waved his hand, and a few servants came over to escort Sherry and Christina upstairs, back to their room.
Cameron walked up behind the sofa where Yanina was sitting, resting his elbows on the back of the couch, his head leaning close to hers. “You’re not scared, are you?”
Yanina instinctively shifted to the other side. “No.”
Carl’s face was ashen. “I asked John to look into Christina’s situation. He was quick about it but didn’t find anything”
“It was me.” Cameron and Yanina said in unison once.
Carl nodded. He just wanted to hear one answer from the two kids.
Cameron and Yanina exchanged glances, and Yanina turned her head away.
“Mr. Zamora, the reason is… Before Yanina could finish, Carl raised his hand, signaling her to stop. “I know you wouldn’t attack Chris without a reason. She must have done something unforgivable.”
Cameron’s cold voice rang out again. “Grandpa, it’s not Yani’s fault. I arranged everything.”
“I don’t care who arranged it. It’s good to see you both taking responsibility for each other. That comforts me. Let’s leave this matter behind and not bring it up again. In a few days, I’ll send you both to Oakenwood, Carl said.
“Sorry, Mr. Zamora.” Yanina lowered her head in apology.
After all, Christina was his beloved granddaughter, his own flesh and blood.
But for her sake, Carl had turned against Christina.
“You don’t have to be so polite with me. Just come visit me more often when you’re free. That would make me happy. No, I should say, give me a great–grandson soon.” As Carl spoke, he broke into a hearty laugh.
Yanina kept her head down, feeling guilty about deceiving Carl since she and Cameron were already divorced.
At that moment, Cameron placed his hands on Yanina’s shoulders. “Don’t worry, Grandpa. We’ll do our best.”
Seeing the atmosphere soften, John timely reminded. “Mr. Zamora, dinner is ready, We can eat anytime.” “Okay. Let’s eat, Carl replied.
Yanina quickly stood up, helping Carl with his arm as the group headed to the dining room.
Once in the dining room, Yanina looked at the dishes on the table and couldn’t help but glance at Cameron.
The food was all dishes that Carl and she loved
Needless to say, this menu was definitely arranged by Cameron on purpose.
Carl started first, taking a piece of food, and only then did Cameron and Yanina begindo eat
Cameron observed the frequency with which Yanina picked up food, secretly ranking the dishes she enjoyed
The meal ended quickly
John packed Carl’s luggage, and Cameron and Yanina supported Carl on either side as they exited the Zamora residence.

Carl gave John a few instructions before getting into the car, and the group headed for the airport.

Once in the VIP lounge at the airport, Yanina discovered that they were flying on the Zamora family’s private plane.
John sent the trip itinerary to Yanina,
They would arrive at Xasuaban Airport today and spend the night there.
The next day, they would head to Southfort for a memorial visit.
The third day was for rest.
On the fourth day, they would go to Barcombe. Yanina paid special attention to Barcombe’s location.
Sherman lived in Moondow, and Barcombe wasn’t far from there, making it relatively close to her hometown as well.
They planned to stay in Barcombe until the sixth day before returning to Xasuaban.
The seventh
day was for rest,
and they would return home on the eighth day.
“Such a packed schedule, Mr. Zamora. Do you think you can handle it?” Yanina asked worriedly.
The roads near Wanona were a bit rough, and she was concerned whether Carl would be able to manage the ride.
“No problem. Compared to others, I’ve been quite lucky these years with so many grandchildren around. These little difficulties are just minor issues, he smiled
“Still afraid of a little adventure?”
The group laughed and chatted, and soon it was time to board the plane.
The head flight attendant came over to invite Carl and the others to board, having received the all–clear after the aircraft inspection.
The flight from Yvale to Xasuaban would take just over four hours.
At first, Yanina was worried she might be bored, but once she boarded the plane, she realized she had overthought it
She knew the Zamora family had a private jet, but this was her first time flying on one.
Since arriving in Yvale, she had been studying there for about seven or eight years without traveling elsewhere.
As she settled into the plane, she was awed by the luxury of the Zamora family’s aircraft.
It was a Boeing 747 equipped with bedrooms, a kitchen, a game mom, and even a spacious living area.
“Grandpa is in the room on the left. We’ll be across from him, peron said.
Feeling a bit awkward, Yanina followed Cameron to their room watching the staff arrange their luggage.
The thought of pretending to be a couple with Cameron and sharing a room made her uneasy.
I’m going to check on Mr. Zamora, Yanina said quickly, making her escape.
“Sure, Cameron replied readily.
Ashe watched her fire, he couldn’t help but smile and murmur, Adorable”
Meanwhile, the adorable Yanitia had already reached Carl’s route. “Mr. Zamora, may I keep you company for a game of

checkers?
Today, you’re quite thoughtful, but I have a habit of taking a nap. Once the plane is stable, I’ll sleep for a bit. You don’t need to stay with me. Go rest, Carl said with a smile.
“Alright, then take care.” Yanina sighed in resignation as she stepped out of Carl’s room.
She remembered Carl had a habit of napping.
Feeling too awkward to be in the same room with Cameron, she sought Carl’s company instead.
Before coming, she had prepared herself.
After all, they used to live together daily when they were married, and this time it was just sharing a bed.
She thought it wouldn’t be a big deal.
Yet, she still felt her cheeks burning, a warmth that lingered.
Finding refuge in the living area, she turned on the TV and randomly selected a documentary about the Animal World. The moment it started, a deep voice announced. “Spring has arrived, and the animals are in mating season.”
Yanina’s face turned even redder as she quickly grabbed the remote and turned off the TV.
Just then, Cameron emerged from his room, having finished organizing his belongings.
“What were you watching? Why did you turn it off?” Cameron asked.
Yanina sat there, seemingly composed, and shook her head while secretly wondering if Cameron had heard that opening line. “Oh, it was nothing. Just a bit boring, so I turned it off.”
“I see.” Cameron noticed the player’s light was still on, so he picked up the remote and turned the TV back on. “Let’s watch together.
Yanina was about to agree when she realized the Animal World was still playing, “The male antelopes fight for mating rights.”
