She didn’t know how long Felix had been standing behind her, but his eyes were filled with anger.
Abigail glanced at him once and then calmly looked away.
Now, seeing Felix again, she didn’t feel anything inside.
Her coldness and indifference only made Felix burn with fury.
Just moments ago, she had been laughing and chatting with that guy, acting like a stranger when she saw him.
He lost control of his anger when he found out she had brought another man to their usual restaurant. He left Caroline behind and rushed over.
He just wanted to see who this man was who dared to take his
Woman.
All he saw was the man’s retreating figure.
Apart from being tall, he was just an ordinary guy.
He thought, “Is he really worth it for Abigail to throw away our years of relationship?”

What bothered Felix even more, though, was how much Abigail had changed.
In just one day, she seemed even more beautiful.
Her round eyes sparkled like stars, and every smile and every glance seemed to shine with brilliance.
He thought, “Why did Abigail have such a sweet, happy smile on her face?
Hadn’t they met at a wedding just to fulfill some matchmaking arrangement?”
Abigail didn’t care what Felix was thinking. She picked up bag from the chair and prepared to leave.
Felix quickly stepped forward and tried to grab her hand.

Whenever he was angry, he would call her name like that, with a cold, domineering tone.
And every time before, she would lower her guard and try to calm him down.
But this time, Felix’s outstretched hand met nothing but air.
Abigail skillfully dodged, her eyes filled with disgust as she looked at him. “Don’t touch me. You’re disgusting!”

The word disgusting made Felix’s face turn even darker, like an enraged lion.
He moved closer, forcefully grabbing her wrist, and backed her
into a corner.
Then, he raised his hand against the wall, trapping her completely.
It was a position that left Abigail with no escape.
His face loomed over her, and she could feel his warm breath on
her skin.
Abigail struggled, her brows furrowed, her face filled with repulsion.
“Get away from me! Stay away!”
As she struggled, her face flushed, and a thin layer of sweat formed.
Felix couldn’t help but stare, momentarily transfixed. He leaned down as if to kiss her…

By the time he reacted, Abigail’s slap had already landed hard on his face.
Felix stood stunned for a moment and then grabbed Abigail’s shoulder, pushing her back against the wall. He snapped,

“Abigail, are you done yet? How long are you going to keep being so stubborn with me?”
Her shoulder hit the wall with a painful thud, making Abigail lose all composure.
She thought, “Done?
Stubborn?”
Abigail gritted her teeth and then lifted her leg and kicked toward his crotch.

Felix was quick to react, stepping back just in time to avoid her attack, but she didn’t hold back on her scathing words.
“Are you out of your mind? Do you really think I’d ruin my life. and my marriage to act angry with scum like you?”
She yelled, her voice filled with rage. The restaurant was already full of people watching, and some even pulled out their phones to record.
Anyone who could afford to dine at this restaurant was rich, and most of them knew Felix.
Now that there was drama to watch, they couldn’t wait to post it on Instagram.
Felix had initially regretted being too harsh, feeling a little sorry for her.
