Chapter 35 A Lot of Bad Things
Abigail was momentarily stunned by the flurry of donate effects flooding the screen.
Once she regained her composure, she quickly tried to stop it. “BabyAbby, please, no more donates! I’m just a small relationship streamer here. You can ask questions without donating!”
Although Abigail wasn’t exactly short on money, it was still shocking for a stranger, someone behind a screen, to suddenly shower her with so much.
[This isn’t a girl. I just checked the profile. It’s a guy.]
[The guy even shared a video on how to get your wife to care for you. Looks like he’s already married.]
The live chat quickly erupted into a discussion about the identity of BabyAbby.
Many people were guessing that this person was the streamer’s newlywed husband. Some even said that the name BabyAbby was a subtle way of showing off their love, implying the streamer was just like his wife. In fact, it was his wife!
Abigail furrowed her brow slightly as she read the comments. Her fans didn’t know she hadn’t actually married the man she had been chasing for three years.

So, they all assumed her husband was Felix.
But Abigail knew this wasn’t Felix’s account.

Moreover, Felix had been insulted by her earlier that day. There was no way he’d create a fake account to donate later.
Not to mention, he didn’t even know this was her live stream….
So, BabyAbby couldn’t possibly be Felix.
He was likely just an ordinary online viewer.
On the other side…
In his study, Marcus stared at the flood of comments on the screen, feeling a surge of guilt.
He thought, “How could these people be so sharp? They figured everything out…”
Marcus quickly clicked, not wanting them to keep guessing, donating another ten carnival–themed donate animations across
the screen.
[Stop it, my goodness. Did the carnival get a major discount? Or did I miss a spend $100, get $1,000,000 promotion?]
Abigail once again tried to tell him not to donate, but it was no use. The luxury airships kept coming one after another.
She paused and then suddenly remembered something she’d seen in a trending news story not long ago. It said that many young kids would use their parents‘ phones to donate to.
streamers.
Upon closer inspection, she saw that this BabyAbby account was newly registered, and all the wealth points were earned from the donates sent in her stream. That meant this person had never donated to anyone else before.
Abigail immediately grew concerned. She opened the private message from the top donor and typed a message.
[Hey, kiddo, send me your account info, and I’ll refund the donates. You shouldn’t be giving away so many donations online like this. The platform takes a cut, so I can only refund you half for now. I’ll also try to work with the platform to get a full refund for you. But please don’t do this next time!]
Marcus read the message in the study next door and couldn’t help but chuckle.
He thought, “My wife is so cute.
She is like a big sister giving advice.”
After chuckling softly, Marcus quickly calmed down and typed a reply.
[I’m an adult with a steady income, and the donation is nothing to me. Please just keep it.]

Abigail froze again when she saw the reply.

She thought, “How could such a simple message feel like it came from a domineering CEO?
Is he really some rich big shot?
Even so, I couldn’t accept so many from a stranger…”
Abigail was firm in her stance. She insisted on him sending the account info for a refund.
Marcus sighed.
He thought, “This is the first time I’d given money to my wife, and she is sending it back!
How could that be right?”
Marcus didn’t know how to handle this, so his first instinct was to contact Anthony. He immediately took a screenshot and sent it to him.
When he didn’t get a reply, he quickly dialed Anthony’s number.
In the bar, the blaring music was deafening when Anthony picked up the phone and yelled, “Mr. Fitzgerald! Don’t you have a nightlife? Why are you calling me at this hour?”
“I need to ask you something,” Marcus said calmly.
Anthony immediately raised his hand, signaling to turn off the

music. The noisy crowd quieted down as all cars on Anthony’s
call.
“What’s up? Spit it out.”
“I sent you a message. Go check it.”
With that, Marcus hung up.
Anthony let out a frustrated chuckle, resigned to his fate, and checked the message.
He thought, “Well, I must’ve done a lot of bad things in my past life. That’s why I have to be Marcus‘ bro in this life!”
