Charles wasn’t concerned about what others thought. He was simply excited and looked at Osborn, saying, “Dr. Richardson, with you here, there’s nothing I need to worry about.”

Charles couldn’t be bothered to deal with Jeremy anymore and turned to Osborn, proposing, “Dr. Richardson, I’ll be your assistant in this surgery. You can be the lead surgeon. How does that sound?”
Osborn knew Abigail was concerned about Adela and immediately agreed.
“Dr. Weber, time is tight. Let’s start now. Please prepare a dust–free surgical gown for me.”

Seeing them about to leave, Jeremy quickly shouted, “Wait.”

“What do you want to do?” Not wanting Jeremy to interfere with the surgery, Abigail stood up and blocked him.
Jeremy ignored her and leaned forward, eagerly addressing Osborn. “Dr. Richardson, I can be your assistant as well. My medical skills are among the top at Reginald Hospital. With me joining, the two of you will have an easier time with this surgery.”
The moment he spoke, everyone was stunned, thinking, “Jeremy is really shameless.”
Jeremy didn’t care how others saw him.
All he knew was that the opportunity to perform surgery with the famous Osborn was a once–in–a–lifetime chance.
As long as he worked alongside Osborn and completed this surgery, his status and reputation in the medical field would rise dramatically.
“Shameless.” Before Osborn could refuse, Charles harshly scolded, “Dr. Hansen, you think I don’t know what you’re after? You’re not qualified to participate in this surgery.”

Charles directly replied, “I’ll give you three days to hand over your work. If you don’t voluntarily resign after three days, I’ll fire you.”
Jeremy was stunned, and with a stiff face, he said, “Dr. Weber, I’ve worked here for over twenty years diligently. What gives you the right to fire me?”
“You, who have no medical ethics, let patients suffer, and only care about your own interests, don’t deserve to be a doctor. Reginald Hospital is not the right place for you,” Charles sternly said.
Originally, Charles had planned to deal with Jeremy after the surgery, but he didn’t expect Jeremy to be so shameless and try to profit from the situation.
Charles thought, “How could I let someone who doesn’t care about the lives of patients into the operating room again? And that nurse who made things difficult earlier, I’ll deal with her as well.”
With that thought, Charles shot a cold glance at the nurse hiding at the back of the crowd and coldly said, “And you. As a nurse, you discriminate against patients and even speak ill of them. You’re not fit to work here, find another job.”
Seeing Charles so resolute, both Jeremy and the nurse panicked, especially Jeremy. Using his position as the Deputy of Reginald Hospital, he had embezzled a lot of money over the years.
