This unpleasant journey ended with me.
As soon as I left the campus gates, a light rain started falling.
I was worried about not having an umbrella when a red car stopped right in front of me.
Long legs stepped out of the car: “Babe.”
I walked over happily, taking the flowers from his hand: “Didn’t you say you had a meeting and couldn’t make it?”
“Today is my baby’s first day stepping from student life into society, and it’s also 13 days before you become my bride. The meeting can be rescheduled, but there’s only one of you today!”
Ethan pulled me into his arms: “I don’t want to miss a single moment with you.”
I nestled against his chest, and in the corner of my eye, I saw Jack standing in the distance.
I saw him make a move to come forward, but he suddenly stopped when he saw me running towards Ethan.
He stood there, watching me reluctantly.
Then he suddenly smiled.
“Emily, I wish you happiness”
I withdrew my gaze, no longer looking at him.
Of course I would be happy.
