I fixed my wrinkled clothes in front of the mirror, looked up, and saw Sophia looking at me with an ambiguous expression.
“I’m done, shall we go back?” I felt uncomfortable under her gaze.
Sophia didn’t seem to be in a hurry to leave. Instead, she leaned close to my ear and asked: “Done? Ready to go back and continue seducing
Jack?”
“What do you mean?”
I didn’t want to get entangled with her, but she blocked the door.
“You’ve slept with him so many times without any status, while I’m openly acknowledged by him. You must be very angry, right?”
My body suddenly froze.
So Sophia knew about our previous relationship.
But it’s all in the past now. I no longer have my mind full of Jack, and I don’t feel ashamed. The world is colorful, and all of this is just part of my
diverse life.
After the beginning of winter, spring follows.
I wiped my hands clean and handed her a handkerchief: “Who hasn’t loved a few jerks when they were young? But don’t worry, I won’t interfere between you and him.”
“Who are you calling a jerk?” She didn’t appreciate it and knocked the handkerchief out of my hand. “Emily, I think you’re just trying to slander him because you can’t have him.”

For a moment, I felt she was extremely pitiful.
But I also felt sympathy because I saw my past self in her.
“Now you’re pretending not to care, but who was it that loved him so desperately and still couldn’t get him?”
“You don’t really think that Jack protecting you just now means he has feelings for you, do you?”
I finally understood why Sophia was going crazy.
So she was jealous of Jack standing up for me earlier.
“Actually, even normal friends would…”
“Would normal friends sleep together? Or are you just naturally loose, a casual woman?”
She was still not satisfied and started to judge my life: “I remember you have an aunt? Can a woman stay abroad for so many years relying only on her bedroom skills?”
I really couldn’t tolerate it anymore.
I raised my arm and slapped her face hard.
“Watch your mouth!”
Sophia, who had been yelling just now, suddenly became pitiful: “I’m sorry, Emily. I didn’t mean to steal Jack…”
Before I could speak, Jack’s angry roar came from behind:
“Emily! What have you done?”
