I thought it was over, but I never expected
Mark to go this crazy.
On Jake’s third day in the hospital, Mark went
there with his face covered. Beth wasn’t
there, only Jake.

He quietly went to him and took him.
It was too normal, so no one suspected him.
No one thought that he would throw the kid
from the window.
Beth was getting out of the elevator when she
saw it. She passed out.
Jake was thrown off the seventh floor, and he
died instantly. Mark ran away.
When I heard the news, I started to feel
uneasy.
The child was gone. Beth was completely
insane. She ignored the police and went to
Mark’s parents with a knife. She started to
chop at the door with an axe, yelling that
Mark killed her son.

The neighbors tried to stay out of it.
The old couple at home were shaking and
crying when they called me. Through the
phone, I could hear Beth screaming.
“Mark! I know you’re hiding! I know you’re
hiding!”
Her voice was full of despair, like I was when I
just heard about Lily’s death.
The police came and stopped her. She was screaming, “Mark, Mark, Mark!”
It was pure hate.
Beth was insane. I was even more worried. I
felt that he would do something crazier.

My worry started to grow.
Until one day, the cemetery told me that
someone was looking for Lily’s grave. They
said they didn’t know what he wanted to do.
I rushed to the cemetery. My friend called me
and said that Beth was trying to break the
tombstone while live streaming.
She didn’t say who she wanted to break the
tombstone of, but I understood instantly.
I went to the live stream and saw Beth, her
eyes were bloodshot. “Mark, you think you
can hide?!”
“Guess where I am?”
“Your daughter has been dead for so long,

that.”
She held up a hammer, laughing. “Mark, if you
don’t show up, I’m gonna destroy your
daughter’s bones. The timer has started, let’s
see who is faster.
I collapsed. My chest hurt.
How could she? How could she?
Beth was looking for her.
