“At the end of the day, you’re just an outsider. You caused Shawn’s death and took his position.”

“Shawn had a will? Why weren’t we informed?” gasped the directors.
They had worked with the Bernard Group for years and considered themselves veterans. On his deathbed, Shawn had verbally appointed Marion as his successor,

Marion gestured to the lawyer beside him. “Open the documents and show them.”
“Yes, sir,” the lawyer replied, quickly opening the folders and distributing the documents
to the shareholders.
The will confirmed everything Marion had said. It bore Shawn’s signature and fingerprints.
Marion added, “Don’t forget, I acknowledged Shawn as my godfather, so it’s only natural that he left his estate and company to me.”
