My husband forced me to give my
womb to his lover
Chapter 1
I was twenty when my biological parents finally
tracked me down and brought me home.
It should have been a dream come true, but the
moment I stepped through the door, the air was
thick with resentment.
Their adopted daughter, Chloe, had left a
suicide note
—
“I’m giving it all back” – and
vanished.
Suddenly, I was Public Enemy Number One.
My “real” parents blamed me for everything,
convinced I’d driven Chloe away with my mere
existence.
I was drowning, honestly, until Liam threw me a

He became my rock, showering me with
affection, and eventually, he asked me to marry
him.
Having lost my family, I thought I’d found true
love.
But five years into our marriage, Chloe
reappeared.
She claimed to have been living a nightmare
abroad, and now she had uterine cancer.
Her life hung in the balance.
My parents were beside themselves, their
hearts breaking for Chloe, and they demanded I
donate my uterus to save her.
I begged, pleaded, trying desperately to get
them to see reason.
But the person who ultimately strapped me to

that operating table wasn’t my folks, it was
Liam.
“This is what you owe her,” he said, his voice
cold. “You have to pay up.”
What he didn’t know was that I was pregnant
with his child.

“How can you be so selfish? Your sister’s dying,
and you can’t even lift a finger to help her!”
“Grace, if you hadn’t pushed her away in the
first place, she wouldn’t have suffered all these
years and ended up with cancer.”
I gripped the car door, refusing to get in.
“I’m pregnant, Liam! What about our baby if I
give her my uterus?”

Tears streamed down my face as I desperately
tried to reach him.
“A baby?” He paused, then scoffed, “I know
your cycle, Grace. You just finished your period
last week. Don’t insult my intelligence.”
“Stop lying!” He looked at me, a deep disappointment etched on his face. “When did you become so heartless and self–centered?”
“Isn’t your sister’s sickness your fault? Giving her your uterus, it’s not even asking for much,
it’s you repaying what you’ve done.”
“I’m not lying! I missed my period,” I choked
out. “I really am pregnant. I have the test results
in my bag.”
“Enough. I’ll have those doctors who helped you
fake this fired, I’m telling you!”
His voice was stern, unforgiving. “Right now,

you need to atone for what you’ve done to your
sister.”
He used brute force, prying my fingers off the
door, one by one, before shoving me into the
back seat and slamming the door shut.
He drove me himself to the hospital owned by
his company, Liam Corp..
They were already waiting, ready for Chloe’s
transplant.
The hospital staff rushed to greet Liam the
moment he arrived.
“Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Thompson’s surgery is all set to go.”
Liam, assuming they were talking about me,
nodded. “Take her upstairs. Prepare for the
transplant.”
く
“Mr. Thompson, the surgery plan for Mrs.
Thompson is ready. Could you come sign off on
it?” The secretary, Brad, stepped forward.
He nodded, turning to the security guards. “Keep an eye on her. Don’t let her run.”
Brad looked down at me, a cruel smile twisting his lips. “Grace, stealing someone else’s
fortune, then stealing their fiancé. Getting
what’s coming to you is really karma, isn’t it?”
“If it weren’t for you, Chloe wouldn’t have
suffered so much, and she wouldn’t have
missed all these years with Liam.”
“You’re a parasite. You deserve to die in that
operating room and never come out to hurt
anyone again.”
He spat those words at me before turning
away.

Back in the day, he was Chloe’s little tagalong,
with a crush on her for years.
When Chloe bolted, he became one of my
biggest haters.
Hearing him, the nurses around us started
whispering. “God, she’s awful.”
“Putting that poor woman through all that. But
look, now she’s being punished by Mr.
Thompson.”
“I hope she meets her fate. Maybe she will have
some closure.”
“I didn’t…” I sobbed and struggled, begging
them for help. “Please, save me! I don’t want
the surgery! I’m pregnant!”
But everyone just stared at me with scornful,
judgmental eyes.
“Look at her playing the victim.”
“Serves her right.”
Liam walked back out, his eyes flashing with impatience as he saw me still resisting, still fighting.
“Enough!” He raised his hand and slapped me across the face.
I stared at him in shock.
“Are you calm now?” he snapped. “It wasn’t your sister’s fault that you were switched at birth. Why do you have to hate her so much?”
“Haven’t you hurt her enough? Don’t you have
any conscience?”
I felt all my strength drain away, leaving only
tears. “You think so too, huh? You think it’s all

My tears seemed to sting him, and he looked
away. “I just want you to stop hurting your
sister.”
“Just cooperate. Donate your uterus to your
sister, and let her live a good life.”
“Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Thompson says she’s not
feeling well and would like you to be with her.”
A nurse ran over.
“Mrs. Thompson?” Liam looked confused.
“I mean, Chloe.”
Worried about Chloe’s condition, Liam turned to
leave. But then he seemed to remember
something and turned back to me.
His voice was low and heavy. “Grace, it’s just a
uterus. Losing it won’t change anything for you.
I’ll find the best research institute to create an
artificial uterus for vou.”
“But if your sister doesn’t get a transplant now,
her life is in danger.”
“Can’t you be reasonable?”
I watched him walk away, finally surrendering all
my energy.
I was strapped onto a stretcher, helpless, and
wheeled toward the operating room.
Chloe was being prepped for surgery, too.
My parents were wiping tears, comforting her.
Even Liam wore that rare, gentle smile that I
hadn’t seen in a long time. He stroked Chloe’s
hair, soothing her softly.
“Chloe, don’t worry. Liam will save you.”
We were so close, yet no one looked at me.

I slowly closed my eyes.
