Silas arrived at Thea’s hometown in the early hours of the morning.
After his assistant found out Thea’s schedule, he came to find her without a moment’s
rest.
But when he saw her laughing and playing around with Kieran in her wedding dress.
He gradually slowed his steps, just standing there under the plane tree watching.
He didn’t know when it started, but he seemed to rarely see Thea laugh so freely
anymore. Whenever they met, they would argue about Jane. Slowly, he stopped coming home often, either staying overnight at the company or drinking all night with Jack and the
others.

“I–I heard Thea was going to marry someone else,” she said softly.
“I was worried you’d be upset, so I came to check on you.”
She was about to hug Silas when he frowned and put his hands on Jane’s shoulders to top her.
Her eyes instantly welled up with tears: “Silas…”
“Thea doesn’t want you, but I do. Let’s get married too, okay…?”
Silas had never refused any of her requests.
She originally thought that after Thea divorced him, she could easily take the position of
Mrs. Smith.
But at this moment, Silas’s face suddenly turned cold: “Jane, do you know what you’re
saying?”
“I do know,” she said.
“Silas, I like you.”
For the first time, she directly expressed her feelings.
But Silas laughed bitterly, and as he laughed, he began to cry.
Jack had warned him countless times.
“The way Jane looks at you isn’t innocent. If you don’t want your marriage to be destroyed, I advise you to send her away.”
“Silas, you’re just too close to see it clearly. You can’t see Jane’s intentions towards you.”
“Send Jane away, don’t let her ruin your marriage.”
