Chapter 15
Tiana’s Point of View
A week had passed.
Tonight, the town square would host a grand banquet, and I knew Kathryn and that healer, Jethro, were among the invitees. It was the perfect opportunity to set my plan into motion.
“Let’s go, Tiana,” Ashton said, his voice steady. He then glanced at my bright yellow bag and raised an eyebrow. “Your bag doesn’t match your outfit.”
I shrugged as we stepped out of the mansion.
When we arrived at the banquet hall, I immediately scanned the crowd, searching for Kathryn and Jethro. My smile widened when I spotted them seated in the far–left corner of the hall, deep in conversation.
All I needed now was the perfect moment.

As the night wore on, the crowd began to thin, and the atmosphere grew quieter. Ashton, restless and clearly struggling with his jealousy, made several attempts to confront Jethro.
Eventually, he threw up his hands in frustration and left. “I can’t stand watching her with him,” He muttered before disappearing into the night.
The moment he was gone, I sprang into action. Slipping away from the main hall, I made my way down to the basement. The moment I found an open room, I crept inside.
With steady hands, I set up the hidden camera, ensuring it was connected to my phone.
Everything was in place now.
So, I decided it was time to make my next move. Slipping away unnoticed, I headed to the comfort room and changed into a waitress uniform. To complete the

disguise, I put on a plain mask that covered half my face.
Once ready, I made my way to the liquor section, blending in seamlessly with the staff. Grabbing two glasses, I carefully poured Black Rose Champagne into each
one.
My hand brushed against my bright yellow bag as I retrieved the Yellow Daisy Ecstasy and discreetly added it to both glasses. The powder dissolved instantly, leaving no
trace.
A sly smirk tugged at my lips as I picked up the glasses and strolled over to Kathryn and Jethro’s table.
Kathryn’s Point of View
The night had been pleasant so far.
Jethro and I were chatting and enjoying the atmosphere when a waitress suddenly approached us.
“You both should try one of the strongest

drinks at the banquet,” She said with a practiced smile, holding out two glasses. “It’s part of the full experience tonight.”
Not wanting to dampen the mood, I glanced at Jethro, and we silently agreed.
“Sure, why not?” I said, taking a glass while Jethro reached for the other.
The champagne was strong–far stronger than I expected.
A warmth spread down my body and I felt my skin flush. My thoughts turned hazy, and before I knew it, vivid images flooded my mind–thoughts of kissing Jethro, and touching him.
I blinked, trying to shake the thoughts away, but they only grew stronger. When I turned to look at Jethro, he was already staring at me, his eyes dark with passion and hunger.
My pulse raced.
And when Jethro’s hand reached for mine, I

leaned in and kissed him hard, my body moving on its own, as if possessed by an uncontrollable desire.
“I know a hidden bedroom in the basement of this hall. Please follow me so you can enjoy the rest of the night privately,” The waitress said, and without a second thought, we followed her.
Down in the basement, the waitress subtly closed the door and locked it behind us.
The heat in the room was stifling, every nerve in my body alive as I sat on the edge of the bed, avoiding Jethro’s gaze.
“I better leave,” Jethro muttered, hesitation clear in his voice.
“Right,” I whispered, but neither of us moved.
His scent was intoxicating, pulling me toward him and pushing me against my will.
“I can’t…” He admitted.
Chapter 15
Our lips met again, a clash of desire that sealed our surrender.
“Kathryn…” He murmured against my lips.
“I know… I know we shouldn’t. But Jethro… I want this. I want to do this with you,” I whispered.
Taking my words as a signal, his hands cupped my face, his thumb brushing gently along my jaw. Slowly, we undressed each other, the heat between us building with every movement.
Moments later, I felt him–warm and hard inside me.
“Please, tell me to stop, Kath. We shouldn’t be doing this…” Jethro said, his voice. strained, almost pleading.
But I didn’t.
Instead, I pulled him closer.
We made love…
When morning arrived, neither of us could

believe what had happened. We exchanged endless apologies, regret and confusion etched across our faces.
How had we lost control?
As I sat on the edge of the bed, my gaze wandered around the room. That’s when I noticed a bright yellow bag resting on the bedside table.
My chest tightened.
I remembered seeing Tiana holding that same bag at the banquet last night.
Could she have been involved in this?
Turning to Jethro, I asked, “Is Yellow Daisy Ecstasy still obtainable in our pack?”
His brows knitted in concern. “Yes, but it’s nearly impossible to get. Why? Do you think… someone used it on us?”
I nodded slowly. “I’m not certain, but it’s possible. And I have a strong suspicion about who would do it.”
Chapter 15
We hurried out of the basement room, but the moment we stepped into the corridor, we were met by a group of pack warriors. Among them was Ashton, his face twisted with fury, and Tiana, standing beside him. She appeared disgusted but her eyes gleamed with satisfaction.
My fists clenched.
There was no doubt now–she was behind this.
“Beat him!” Ashton commanded the pack warriors.
Without hesitation, they lunged at Jethro, pinning him down and unleashing a brutal assault. I screamed, rushing forward to stop them, but they were relentless. Their punches landed with sickening thuds, their kicks driving into his body with
unrestrained force. Thick wooden sticks cracked against his ribs, each blow drawing pain.
By the time they were finished, Jethro lay

motionless on the ground, bloodied and battered.
Ashton towered over him. “I warned you to stay away from my mate, Jethro. But no- you even had the audacity to sleep with her!” He spat, then turned back to the warriors. “Take him. Lock him in jail!”
The warriors obeyed without question, dragging Jethro’s broken body away.
Ashton then turned to me. Before I could react, his hand came down hard across my face. Pain stung my cheek as tears welled in my eyes.
“I knew it,” He snarled. “I knew you were nothing but a filthy slut, having an affair with him! And don’t even think about denying it–Tiana already showed me the video. I saw every second of your betrayal, Kathryn!”
My knees felt weak as the horrifying truth
sunk in.
We were recorded.
Chapter 15
“Turns out you’re not as innocent as you pretend to be,” Tiana sneered, her voice filled with malice. “Turns out you’re also a slut.”
I glared at her through my tears. “This is your fault, Tiana.”
Without waiting for a response, I stormed back into the room, grabbed the bright yellow bag from the bedside table, and marched back out. Holding it up for everyone to see, I said, “This bag was in the room when we woke up, and I saw you
carrying it at the banquet last night. You did something to us! We would never have slept together if we were in our right minds!”
Ashton’s brows furrowed, his anger momentarily replaced with confusion.
“Wait a second,” He said, turning to Tiana. “I did see you carrying that bag last night. Tiana, are you involved in this?”
Tiana’s smug expression faltered for a split

second before she crossed her arms and scoffed. “Are you seriously accusing me of something? Don’t be ridiculous, Ashton. I was just exposing the truth!”
But Ashton wasn’t convinced, his jaw tightening as doubt crept into his eyes. “But I also knew you were a great liar.”
