Kathryn’s Point of View
A year had passed since Jethro and I left the Fire Heart Pack for the Ocean Blue Pack, and I must say, it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Life here was easy, peaceful, and fulfilling. With Jethro’s support, I was able to train as the pack’s healer, and now, I’m already interning at the infirmary–a dream I never thought I could achieve.
I live in a cozy little house near Jethro’s, surrounded by a warm and welcoming community that made me feel at home from the start.
Every morning, Jethro and I either walk or ride our bicycles to the infirmary. After our shifts, we sometimes stop by a coffee shop or cook dinner to share. On weekends, if we have the time, we explore the pack’s renowned spots. But when we’re too tired

These moments are what I’m most grateful for. After so many years of living in fear, humiliation, and sadness, I finally wake up feeling free. For the first time, I don’t have to exist solely to serve someone else. For the first time, I feel like my life has meaning–that I matter.
And just when I thought life couldn’t possibly get better, Jethro surprised me.
One Saturday night, he appeared in my front yard, holding a bouquet of pink tulips –my favorite flowers. His face lit up with a genuine smile as I stepped outside to meet
him.
Then, he handed me the bouquet and pressed his lips to the back of my hand. “You look lovely tonight, Kath,” He said softly, making me blush.
“What’s all this for?” I asked, my voice almost a whisper.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he knelt on one knee. His eyes, filled with an admiration I had never seen from anyone, locked onto mine as he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small box.
My heart began to race as he slowly opened it. Inside was a stunning diamond ring, shimmering in the soft moonlight. Jethro held it out in front of me, his hands steady and sure.
1 gasped, my breath catching in my throat as tears spilled freely down my cheeks.
“Kathryn,” He began, his voice gentle, “I want to give you a life full of peace, love, and happiness–free of pain. I want to be by your side for the rest of my days, to shield you from the world’s cruelty, to replace every tear you’ve shed with smiles and laughter. I will never let anyone hurt you again. When I discovered you were my second–fated mate, I knew, without a doubt, that this was meant to be. I loved
you as a friend, and I love you even more

now as my mate. I will love you, Kathryn, until the end of time. So, will you marry me? Will you accept our mating bond and allow your heart to feel the love you truly deserve?”
His words, so heartfelt and sincere, left me speechless. Tears continued to stream. down my face as I nodded, unable to find the words but knowing, in my heart, that this was what I wanted too.
I reached out my trembling hand, and as he slid the ring onto my finger, I felt a
sense of warmth and belonging I had never known before.
Tiana’s Point of View
My skin was covered in bug bites from last night, and I wasn’t feeling well today, but the prison guards still pushed me to do my assigned task–cleaning the smelly prison toilets.
Frustrated and exhausted, I made my way to the restroom, only to find Sasha–the

stripper–already there. Apparently, I was stuck finishing this task with her. I rolled my eyes in annoyance, but before I could even speak, she threw a bucket of water straight at me.
“I’ll watch you clean everything. You better start now,” She spat, her voice filled with disdain.
“What the hell, Sasha? We’re supposed to do this together!” I shot back, furious.
She only laughed, a mocking sound that made my blood boil. “I’m not getting my newly manicured nails dirty in this toilet. You’re doing it all by yourself.”
“Hell no! I’m reporting this to the prison authorities!” I yelled, standing my ground.
Sasha smirked, completely unfazed.
“One of the prison authorities is already my boyfriend. They won’t do a damn thing to me,” She said smugly. Then, as if trying to get under my skin, she added, “By the way, you’re Ashton’s mistress, right? Tiana?

What happened to him? Why hasn’t he bailed you out yet?”
Her words struck a nerve, and I snapped. I splashed water all over her. “It’s none of your fucking business!”
She calmly wiped the water using her clothes, her face twisted in annoyance. Then, she stepped closer. Without warning, she yanked my hair and shoved me into one of the cubicles. My head hit the toilet bowl, the overwhelming stench of shit and dirt making me gag and vomit.
“This is your warning,” She hissed, her grip tightening on my hair. “This isn’t your territory, so don’t get to boss anyone
around here. Clean the damn toilet, or I’ll flush your head down it.”
Ever since I was jailed, my life had been
like this, a nightmare, worse than when I was still an Omega.
I’ve only served one year, and I have nineteen more to go.

How the hell am I supposed to survive this?
Ashton’s Point of View
I tried to find someone to fill the emptiness my heart still feels. I’ve met many she- wolves, taken several out on dinner dates, kissed a few, but none of them worked out.
I feel like this emptiness in my heart could only be filled by Kathryn’s love. But I also knew that having her would be impossible
now.
‘It has been a year since you left, but I still miss you to this day…‘ I wrote the words down on a piece of paper, folded it, and placed it inside my jar.
Ever since Kathryn left, whenever I missed her, it had become a habit of mine to write something for her–or about her—on a piece of paper and store it in the jar.
After finishing my latest letter, I stepped outside the mansion to continue my usual routine. Unexpectedly, as I reached the kingdom, I saw Kathryn.
