“A suicide note? Oh my God! She took
sleeping pills!”
“Call 911!”
I heard Jake’s voice, panicking, “Brittany!
Don’t scare me! You’re gonna be okay!”
I haven’t slept so well in ages.
When I woke up, I stretched and yawned.
When I opened my eyes, Sarah was bringing
back breakfast, she looked around and shut
the door.
“Playing dead, Brittany. That’s my girl!”
Sarah laughed and gave me the food, “You
know, when that live stream of Tiffany’s went
on, she looked so dumbfounded.”
“She even said that you were faking the
suicide to get sympathy, and then got ripped
to shreds.”
I shrugged.

I just took a couple of sleeping pills to help
me fall asleep.
They only needed to see the word “suicide” to
freak out.
They were seeing what they wanted to see.
I accused Jake and Tiffany of an affair, and of
forcing me to get a hysterectomy and care
for their kid for the rest of my life.

told.
While I was hospitalized, Sarah got hold of
people who could prove the timeline of Jake
and my relationship.
Some of my college classmates also came
forward.
[Oh my God! This is so twisted! If I had a
sister like that, I’d lose my mind!]
[I feel so bad for this girl! She got a loser
boyfriend and a psycho sister, and parents
<
who had no idea what’s going on!]
[To get cheated on at your own wedding by
the man you love? I’d go crazy!]
[She even manipulated us into attacking her
sister online! The sister almost died!]
[I actually pitied her because she was dying,
but now it’s so clear that she should just drop but–now
dead!]
I read through the comments.
Because it was a trending topic, Tiffany got
twice the amount of hate.
To save her reputation, Jake said they broke
up long ago and Tiffany didn’t know of his
past with me.
But he kept messing up and nobody believed
him.
I used a fake account and released their info.
The next day, people were protesting at my
parents‘ house, and threw paint on the walls…
