It was Liam’s plan to catch me.

He stared at my belly.
“Scarlett, tell me you didn’t have another
man’s baby.”

“Yes, I had another man’s baby. What does it
matter to you?”
He glared at me.
“Look at yourself! You’re sick! Why would you
have a baby? Don’t you care about yourself?”
“If you want to be like that, ask me to stay!
You can have a baby from me!”
“You cheated me, lied to me, and ran away
from me!”
Shailene pushed Liam, but the police stopped
him.
I signaled to him to stay quiet.
Liam clapped.
“Okay, Scarlett!”
Liam forced me into a car.
He hired experts and worked hard.
He changed his personality.
He put me in a hospital and watched me.
He finally rested with bloodshot eyes.

“Where do you think you’re going?”
Liam wouldn’t let me go anywhere.
The doctor came.
He shook his head.
“You haven’t come in months. You’ve lost so
much weight.” He shook his head. “You’re too
stubborn. Now, you have to have this baby.”
Liam interrupted him.
“Is there another way? She can abort the
baby and treat the illness.”
The doctor gave Liam a weird look.
“She’s six months pregnant! She wanted this
baby from the start. Are you the father? You
haven’t been here.”
Liam muttered, “Six months.”
“Scarlett, you could have told me you were
pregnant. Instead, you ran away.”

and treat yourself.”
