A few days before the SAT, I was working as
a tutor to make money.
That family was very kind to me. Their friends from abroad sent them some wine. They gave me some and asked me to take them home to drink with my family.
When I get home with my things, it’s late at night.
Suddenly, I heard someone coughing at
home.
When I opened the door, she saw the first aid kit scattered all over the floor, and the
room was in a mess.
My mother curled up on the sofa, holding something in her arms. Her thin cheeks
were sunken.

She wrapped herself up and sat down against the door.
My voice was so calm that even I myself found it unbelievable.
“Mom, don’t think about it. I won’t tell you the password.”
My mother’s crazy voice paused, and then she said fiercely, “Then don’t even think about going to take the SAT. If you want to study so much and want to leave, I’ll make you unable to leave for the rest of your life! I’ll bury you with your younger brother, father, and grandmother for the rest of your lives!”

Early the next morning.
I knocked and kicked the door, but there was no sound outside.
I opened the bedroom window and shouted for help.
After I was rescued, I found that my mother had died in the living room.
