“No way! The more this happens, the more I have to stay strong. I can’t let the outside world think I’m afraid.”

Gwen threw off her blanket and headed to the bathroom to get ready.
At the Savant Group building, reporters from the entertainment industry had been waiting for a long time.
A red Porsche pulled up in front of them.
Inside the car, Alfie advised, “Ms. Lawson, shouldn’t you wear sunglasses or a hat? These people will take photos without restraint, and it might affect your mood
“No need,” Gwen replied, flashing a bright smile as she checked her makeup in the mirror. She looked stunning and radiated confidence. She was very pleased with herself. I want them to know they can’t affect me at all.”
Alfie got out of the car first. The security team had already formed a human barrier to clear a path, keeping the reporters at bay.
He opened the car door to welcome Gwen as she stepped out.
She wore a luxurious diamond–studded dress that sparkled in the light and maintained an impeccable smile. The reporters were expecting a disheveled and defeated Gwen due to the scandals, so they were shocked to see her completely unaffected.
Flashes went off in a frenzy as she walked in with determination.
“Gwen! Are you planning to apologize to Mr. Hall for your infidelity during your marriage?”
“How long did your inappropriate relationship with Simon last while you were still married?”
“Can you even remember the names of the people you bullied?”
“Have you thought about how to atone for your actions?”
Suddenly, a smoothie cup was thrown from the back of the crowd and was about to hit Gwen’s head. Instantly, a swift figure appeared and blocked the cup with his hand.
Henry’s eyes narrowed as he glared in the direction of the thrower. Then, he commanded the security,” Find ou who did that!”
“Yes, sir!”
Caught off guard by his sudden appearance, Gwen felt a rush of emotion and instinctively linked her arm with his. She found comfort in his presence.
In a crisis, he was always the first to arrive.
With Henry’s presence, the reporters went wild.
“Mr. Lawson, have you seen Gwen’s scandals?”
“Will you still choose to believe her and stay with her?
“Will Mr. Lawson Senior agree to let such a disreputable person through the door?
These questions were based on the presumption that the rumors were facts. They completely disregarded the truth.

Henry’s face darkened–as he tightened his grip on Gwen’s arm, urging her to move inside more quickly.
Once they were in the building and after entering the office, he prepared a steaming cup of coffee for Gwen, and his eyes were filled with concern. “How are you holding up?”
“I’m fine.” Gwen was beaming.
He tapped her nose playfully. “You always want to prefend to be strong. I told you to stay home, but you insisted on coming out.”
“Their words made me angry, and I didn’t want to back down.”
Seeing that Gwen was still spirited, Henry felt relieved.
“Before I returned, Grandpa made a decision. He will officially announce you as the young lady of the Lawson family during his 70th birthday celebration to prevent the outside world from constantly attacking your identity.”
When Gwen was young, Marlon had hidden her identity out of concern that someone might target her because of it while she attended the Royal Academy.
Later, she pursued her passion for art and didn’t work for the Lawson Group, but it didn’t matter much. Over time, people came to think that the Lawsons only had three children.
“Since you’re returning now, it’s a perfect opportunity to announce it,” Henry said while looking at Gwen. Are you ready?”
“Yeah.” She nodded confidently.
“Good. You must stay obedient and rest at the Lawson residence for a few days. We’ll head back to Dornwick soon to make arrangements, and you can follow later.”
Gwen listened quietly when suddenly her phone chimed with a message.
“Tabby, a few of my friends and I have come to Bellmont for college. Can we meet up?”
Seeing the message made Gwen smile with pride. These kids were doing so well! They had actually accomplished what they had promised.
“Of course! Let’s pick a place.”
