Hannah, with her small mind, must have misunderstood him again, which was why she used this trivial matter to put him on guard. Christian couldn’t help but laugh.
“I didn’t expect Mr. Whitmore to be so idle as to start coring about these trivial matters.”
Before Hudson could respond, Hannah retorted sarcastically.
“You once said no charity is too small. What now, contradicting yourself?”
Christian looked displeased.
“You really know how to hold your ground,” he said, standing next to Rebecca. “Let’s see how long you can keep it up!”
Hudson was no saint.
Hannah thought she could use him to provoke Christian, without considering her own capabilities.
Hannah hadn’t been involved in the company for years and knew very little about its secrets, so he wasn’t worried about her leaking any information.
So, he didn’t care.
When Hannah faced setbacks with Hudson, she would definitely come back crying to him.
Then he would settle the score with this woman.
Freya quickly announced the start of the sports day.
The event was simple, parents and their children would run around the track, cross a shaky bridge, and reach the finish line to succeed.
Ethan held Hannah’s hand on one side and gripped Hudson’s tightly on the other.
The trio started running as soon as the whistle blew,
School teachers and PR staff were responsible for taking photos.
“Ethan’s family outfit really stands out!”
“I just realized, Mr. Whitmore actually matches their color scheme.”
“It’s a pity Mr. Whitmore is here just for work; he’s not interested in women.”
But Hannah, and Rebecca, these two families… better got to spread rumors.
There’s nothing we can’t say. Look at Mr. Ford, always rotecting that celebrity, Chester is getting sidelined.
“Stop gossiping, focus on your work!”

Because everyone had reached the shaky bridge, which wobbled dangerously, making it hard to stand, alone walk without risking a fall.
The small lake below wasn’t deep, but no one wanted to leave a bad impression in the minds of their children.
As the bridge shook violently, screams filled the air.
Hannah swallowed hard, inching forward tentatively
.But amidst the chaos, someone accidentally stepped on her foot, causing her to nearly fall.
“Help!”
In a panic, she called out instinctively.
Hudson, holding Ethan with one hand, quickly grabbed her wrist with the other and pulled her up with a
little effort.
Hannah was visibly shaken, patting her chest.
“That scared me, I thought I was going to be dragged under by the water.”
Ethan looked up to Hudson with admiration. “Dad, you’re so awesome.”
Hudson smiled. I’m glad I didn’t hold you back.”
Hannah felt a bit embarrassed. “Uh, Mr. Whitmore, the child doesn’t understand, this title, you…”
“No worries, kids say the darndest things.”
Hannah breathed a sigh of relief.
Ethan grinned. “Mom, Dad, let’s hurry up, we have to take first place!”
Hannah nodded, about to move, only then realizing her wrist was still being held.
Hudson’s hand was large, completely encircling her wrist. The warm touch made her wrist tingle, and she- quickly withdrew her hand.
“Let’s go.”
Meanwhile, not far away.
Christian thought he heard Hannah’s cry for help.
He instinctively turned back, searching for Hannah’s figure. But he saw Hudson holding her wrist, the two laughing and talking.
He was furious. Flannah had really gone too far this time!
Even if she came back crying for forgiveness later, heuldn’t give her another chance!

Suddenly, Rebecca’s body swayed, and she instinctively grabbed his arm, hiding fearfully by his side, not daring to move forward on her own.
“Chris, it’s too shaky; I can’t walk.”
Christian looked away and actually wrapped his arm around her slender waist.
“I’ll take you across.”
“Chris, you’re so kind.” Rebecca’s cheeks flushed, and she clung tightly to his chest.
The two of them were cozy, completely ignoring that Chester had retreated to the edge of the bridge.
Someone deliberately shook the bridge again, and Hannah quickly held onto Ethan, hearing a

splash.
Chester stood up in the lake, water up to his waist, his clothes completely soaked, looking utterly miserable.
Christian and Rebecca, wrapped up in each other, hadn’t noticed Chester being pushed aside.
Only when someone shouted did they realize Chester was missing and hurriedly went to look for him. Hannah spotted Chester in the water at a glance.
She handed Ethan to Hudson and jumped into the water. There were divers in the water ready to assist, but Chester’s flailing delayed them.
“Chester.”
She wasn’t a swimmer, but since the water wasn’t deep, he took a few steps through the water and staggered over to Chester’s side..
