Chapter 4
The maid who was cleaning next door suddenly let out a startled cry, attracting the curious gazes of all the guests attending today’s birthday party. Everyone gathered around to see what happened.
Emmett, Camila, Declan, and I also walked over.
The maid was lying on the floor with a pink condom near her feet.
She had obviously slipped on the condom and fallen.
Today was Emmett’s birthday, and I had specifically hired a maid to clean the house, especially under Camila and Emmett’s bed, instructing her to clean thoroughly.
Jackson loved using pink condoms, and after each use, he would mischievously throw them under the bed just to irritate Emmett.
Emmett never used pink ones. As soon as he saw it, he turned to Camila with a harsh tone: “What’s going on? Explain yourself!”
Camila froze the moment she saw the pink condom.
“I’m talking to you!” Emmett roared, raising his hand and slapping Camila hard across the face.
Camila’s friends quickly stepped forward to intervene.
“Well, no wonder Emmett is angry. He’s hated pink since childhood -why would he ever use something like this?” I remarked from the side.
Now everyone understood, looking at Emmett with sympathy.
Emmett, proud and arrogant since childhood, couldn’t tolerate such humiliation.
He grabbed Camila’s hair and slammed her against the wall, shouting, “You brought another man into our home! Who is he? Tell
me now!”
“I didn’t! Emmett, listen to me, I never cheated–someone must be framing me!” Camila explained.
Her nose had hit the wall, causing tears to stream down her face from the pain.
“Do you think I’m an idiot?” Emmett was about to strike her again.
Camila desperately looked to Jackson for help, but he quietly backed away and slipped out of the crowd.
I didn’t stop Jackson. Letting him die now would be too merciful.
Seeing Jackson was no help, Camila suddenly thought of something and desperately pleaded, “Emmett, stop! I’m pregnant with your child! I was planning to surprise you on

your birthday!”
“Camila!” Emmett practically spat her name through gritted teeth.

Now that Emmett’s suspicions aroused, Camila’s mention of the baby only made him more doubtful.
Emmett shouted, “We’re getting divorced tomorrow! Who knows who the father of your baby is? Get out! Get out now!”
Emmett’s birthday party ended abruptly, with Camila thrown out of the house.
After the guests left, the house was a mess, and I was
no up.
“Emma, you did this on purpose today, didn’t you?” Emmett asked me with a dark expression. “You just wanted to humiliate me, right? You won’t let me into your company, and now you want to embarrass me! You’re such a great sister!”
Even though he knew Camila had cheated, he still hated me.
Our parents died early, making me promise to take good care of
Emmett.
I took great care of him, but he betrayed my kindness.
In my previous life, I let him manage the company and gave him shares, only to end up murdered.
Living again, I won’t let the same thing happen.
“What does my company have to do with you?” I coldly demanded. “Did I force Camila to cheat? Emmett, please use your brain for once!”
With that, I put down the cleaning cloth and turned to leave.
Before leaving, I said, “You get out tomorrow too. You’re over thirty and still living in my house. Hmph! You don’t find that embarrassing?”
I didn’t look back to see Emmett’s expression.
I had already been good to Emmett.
My wealth was like a cake to him–he was desperate for a bite.
Even without Camila, Emmett would have bankrupted me all the
same.
“You’re so cruel. And you call yourself my sister!” Emmett slammed the door as he stormed out.
After Emmett left, only Declan and I remained in the villa.
In the empty house, Declan suddenly approached from behind and said, “Honey, something about today doesn’t seem right to me.”
In my previous life, Camila was my murderer, with Declan and Emmett as accomplices.

I never understood how Declan, after years together, could curse at me and divorce me over two pairs of black underwear.
Only after my death did I learn that Declan, like Camila, had been unfaithful.
To divorce me, he believed Camila’s lies.
Shortly after I was killed in that car accident, he happily married someone else and divided my assets with Emmett.
Even if nothing had happened this time, I couldn’t forgive him.
“Let’s get divorced,” I said.
Declan’s body stiffened, and he lowered his voice to ask, “Why?”
“Why?” I chuckled softly, taking out photos the private investigator had prepared and throwing them hard in Declan’s face. “Don’t you know perfectly well?”
Declan stared at the photos scattered on the floor, his eyes widening in disbelief.
