Mabel’s body shuddered. Her grip on the money tightened as if she intended to embed the banknotes into the flesh of her palm
Someone yelled. “Wag! Do it!”
“Come on, b*tch! Wag, quickly!”
“Hey, b*tch, don’t you want the money anymore?” Lance suddenly asked.
Mabel stared at the money in her hand, taking a deep breath. Then, she shook her hips stiffly while sprawled on the ground.
Someone cackled. “Oh, I can’t take it anymore! My stomach hurts from laughing so much!”
“I also can’t hold back. Having traversed the length and breadth of the land, I’ve seen all sorts of women in every walk of life. There’s no shortage of those driven by greed, but never have I encountered one whose craving for money is as extreme as this Truly, it’s an eye–opening experience!”
“Mr. Scott, that b*tch is shaking her tail at you,” Lance said with ill intentions. “Won’t you reward her?”
Mr. Scott? In an instant, Mabel’s heart seemed to stop beating!
Slowly, stiffly, and with great difficulty, she lifted her head. The sight drained all the color from her face!
Xavier sat quietly on the couch, the dim light making him appear more aloof and elegant.
His gaze fell upon Mabel’s face as he uttered, “You’re truly a b*tch.”
Mabel clenched her back teeth tightly, her breathing instantly becoming erratic. If it weren’t for the heavy layer of clownI makeup concealing her face, her complexion at that moment would have been as pale as a corpse’s! Thank goodness for my mabrup. Otherwise….
Under Xavier’s gaze, Mabel slowly pulled out an incredibly radiant smile. “Thank you for your reward, Mr. Scott.” No one could tell that simple sentence took almost all her strength to say, as if it had been forced out from the back of her teeth!
He had called her a bitch, and she thanked him for his generosity. Truly, she was no longer the same woman who once held her head high in Moontown.
Mabel took a deep breath, turning to look at Lance, “Mr. Leedon, I’ve picked up all the money on the ground. Will you keep your word?” Lance generously waved his hand in response. Just as Mabel was about to stand up, Lance calmly stopped her. “Don’t rush to stand up.”
As he spoke, he walked over to the crystal table and picked up a glass of wine. “Before you take the money, let me treat you to a drink.”
He delivered a glass of whiskey to Mabel, whose limbs were still touching the floor.
“I don’t- Mabel was about to refuse when someone else spoke.
“Fine wine is best enjoyed with a beautiful companion. It would be a pity to let her drink it,” said Xavier in a deep voice.
Mabel lowered her gaze, concealing the bitterness that resided in her eyes. Xavier, just how far will you go in humiliating me to make yourself happy?
“Are you implying that she isn’t a beauty?” Lance was doubtful. “I don’t believe it. There couldn’t possibly be person in Club Royale.”

After speaking, he earnestly studied Mabel’s face. However, the heavy clown makeup she wore concealed her actual
appararance.
“You don’t believe me?” Xavier grinned slightly, his gaze lazily landing on Mabel’s face. “Go wash it off. His tone was dismissive and languid, showing utter indifference,
Mabel was just about to stand up when Lance instructed, “Crawl over there.”
Mabel paled once more as she propped herself up on the ground Endure, Mabel! Compared to the three years of prison life, this is

Then, she obediently crawled toward the restroom attached to the private room. With no makeup remover at her disposal, she had no choice but to use the hand soap to wash off the clown makeup on her face. Of course, it wasn’t as thoroughly clean as it would have been with makeup remover oil, but it was enough to see her thin, ordinary face.
Upon reaching the entrance of the restroom, she was pulling the door open when Lance spoke again.
“I’ve grown accustomed to seeing you crawl, so I feel weird when I see you walking around,” Lance said with a playful smile as he watched the woman by the door. “What do you think you should do?”
Mabel silently crouched down, crawling on all fours. Her legs were uncoordinated, having already spent considerable time crawling around. At that moment, her face was contorted in pain.
The pain was piercing, yet she stubbornly bore it in silence. She claimed she didn’t need dignity, that she had none and didn’t care for it. Yet, subconsciously, she would rather endure a pain so intense that even a man couldn’t bear it, suffering in silence until death if it came to that.
Outside the private room, Mikayla emerged from around the corner. As she lifted her head, her eyes sharpened in an instant. She walked softly to the outside of the room and asked, “Luna, what are you doing?”
Luna, who was outside the room, was startled and swiftly turned her head. Upon recognizing the person behind her, her pretty face turned uneasy. “I… I wasn’t looking at anything.
Luna was the hostess of Room 606. The scions who visited didn’t want her to serve them. Instead, they had Mikayla personally escort the newly hired janitor into the room.
Luna was forced out of the private room. Naturally, she was upset about it. Seeing that no one was around, Luna carefully and quietly pushed the private room door slightly ajar, peeping inside through the tiny gap. What she saw made her eyes widen in disbelief while she ridiculed Mabel in her mind.
