She wondered countless times what kind of woman could be fortunate enough to marry Adrian. She was truly envious.
“Germaine, what’s wrong? Are you troubled?” Corey asked with concern, unaware of everything that had happened.
At that moment, Adrian wasn’t in the office. Germaine seized the opportunity to look up at Corey and asked, “Corey, Bo you know Mr. Locke is married?” Germaine held her breath, waiting for the answer. Corey’s face registered shock. “No way! Germaine held her breath, waiting for the answer.
“Mm.” Adrian sat down in his office chair, offering no further explanation after his simple acknowledgment.
Germaine’s heart sank, feeling as if it had shattered into pieces.
“Who is she?” Corey asked, surprised. “Why have we never seen you date anyone?”

“Focus on your work. Don’t gossip about my private matters,” Adrian replied lightly. “We’ve got the marriage certificate, but the wedding hasn’t been planned yet. I’ll need your help arranging it when the time comes.”
