Rena only allowed Antonio to marry Grace because she would be good for their business..
Grace was an A–list star. As she married Antonio, the Kaufman Group saved a lot of money by not having to hire a spokesperson. And Grace’s huge fan base had boosted their sales.
After these years, as their brand became well–recognized, Grace had lost her value.
What’s more, Grace had failed as a woman since she couldn’t give Antonio a child.
Rena was worried that she couldn’t convince Antonio to have children
with other women. Roxie was a pleasant surprise for Rena.
Rena thought even fate was on her side.
She thought, “It’s good news for me that Grace died. Antonio can marry someone else now!”
Lying on the hospital bed, Antonio couldn’t believe his ears. “Mom! What are you talking about?! Grace is the only woman I’d marry!
“I had a vasectomy a long time ago. Roxie can’t be carrying my child!”
Looking at her hysterical son, Rena merely cleared her ears indifferently.
“The doctor told us you could get a woman pregnant even though you had a vasectomy. Rest and get better soon so you can marry Roxie. People will gossip if they see the bride with a bump at the wedding.”

As Rena finished speaking, Roxic entered the room with Kelly’s help. She was wearing a white dress.
“Antonio.”
Roxic was glowing as her scheme had succeeded.
“Bitch!” Antonio pounced and slapped her hard. Roxie fell to the ground.
“Answer me! Who’s the father of your bastard child?! You worked so hard to seduce me. Why?!”
Roxie couldn’t find any trace of love in Antonio’s eyes. Scared, she clinched to Kelly’s leg.
Kelly was feeling guilty, but she straightened her back and said.
“Antonio! Roxie is carrying your baby! Stop blaming her!
“Grace is dead! There are so many women in the world. Don’t hang up on her.‘
Antonio watched Roxie playing coy and sneered.
“Grace is dead, but why? She wouldn’t commit suicide if this bitch didn’t. provoke her repeatedly!
“She should die to compensate for Grace!”
Roxie trembled in shock. She thought, “Grace is dead. He already stabbed me twice for it!
“Why can’t he just forget about that bitch?!”
Roxie smiled bitterly and gradually she laughed out loud. Besides fear, she was now looking at Antonio with mockery too.

“I did nothing wrong. I did what I did because I didn’t want my child to be called a bastard! Grace can only blame herself for not being able to have your children!”
If looks could kill, Roxie would be dead. When she met eyes with Antonio, she started acting innocent again.
“Our baby is four weeks old now. Antonio, I’m begging you. It’s fine that you don’t want to marry me. But our child is innocent.”
Roxie crawled to Antonio and kept on pleading.
“Antonio, I’m sorry. But Grace can’t come back. I’ve prepared so many surprises for you. You should see them!”
Roxie knew that Antonio was addicted to her body. She still had a chance.
“Really?” Antonio scoffed. “Since you like seducing men so much, I’ll send you to other men.”
Roxie wasn’t an innocent girl and instantly understood what Antonio was up to. The idea paralyzed her directly.
She thought, “How could he even suggest this? I’m his woman. He’s whoring me out to avenge Grace?!”
Roxie laughed, her expression full of unwillingness. “Antonio! You should punish yourself too!
“If you love Grace so much, I couldn’t seduce you in the first place! It’s your fault. You couldn’t resist the temptation and slept with me time after time. You killed her!
“You knew that Grace aided me. You knew that I was going to seduce you. But you still promoted me. You gave me the chance. You’re my accomplice!”

It hit Antonio’s sore point. Enraged, he raised his hand to hit Roxic again. Rena stopped him with a slap on the face.
“Enough! Roxie is carrying your child! Even if you don’t want the baby, I want it.”
Then, Rena hurriedly ordered her men to take Roxic out before storming
out.
When his assistant called, Antonio hadn’t recovered from the slap.
“Bad news, Mr. Kaufman! The company is in trouble!”
