Chapter 5 Panic
Meanwhile.
As soon as Antonio got into the car, he received some photos.
His Adam’s apple bobbed as his fingers slid across the screen. Lust appeared in his eyes.
He turned the wheel and drove in the opposite direction of Sun Street.
The doorbell of the Kaufman’s villa rang in less than 20 minutes.
Kelly walked in with two boxes of donuts.
Gasping, she explained, “Dear celebrity Grace, something came up at Antonio’s company. He asked me to bring you donuts.”
Grace knew it was a lie, but she was used to it.
The bright side was, she would be free of the pain Antonio’s lies and betray caused her in a few days.
She took a bite and told Kelly she was sleepy and wanted to rest in her bedroom.
Kelly could tell something was wrong. She guaranteed Antonio didn’t lie, and said if he cheated on Grace, she would kill Antonio herself.
“Grace, relax. Antonio said he had a surprise for you the day after tomorrow.”
Looking at Kelly’s naive face, Grace forced a smile.
After she “died,” probably only Kelly would shed genuine tears for her.

Two days later, Grace got the surprise.
Grace idolized a former actress named Eva Bailey. Eva was in the clothing business now. She established her own brand Heat. It was popular across the world.
Six months ago, the brand Heat began looking for a global endorser. Eva stayed for three days in Edgecoast. But back then, Grace was on a shooting set. She missed the chance to meet her idol.
To her surprise, Antonio chased Eva to Beachlea. After going to great. lengths, he managed to make her come back to Edgecoast.
Grace and Eva hit it off, but she refused to be the global endorser.
Eva didn’t understand. “Many people would dream of this opportunity. Why did you turn me down? You’d make an ideal endorser.”
Grace smiled bitterly. Being an endorser meant years of work, and she would have to attend activities.
But she would “die” soon.
Eva thought Grace had an unspeakable reason. She said, “I hope we’ll cooperate next time.
“By the way, your husband loves you

Their love story was well–known. The purpose of this meeting was to confirm Heat’s endorser
Everyone thought it would be Grace. Unexpectedly, Eva told the press it was unsettled
“Why Is Ms. Parrish unsuitable” a reporter asked. That was a tricky
question
Eva smiled wryly “Ms Parrish and I hit it off. I really hope she can be the endorser Sadly, she refused.”
Antonio was more astonished than the reporters. Having grown up with Grace, naturally, he knew how much she adored Eva
Why did she refuse
He had a bad feeling. A chill ran through his body.
He turned slightly and held Grace tightly, as if only in this way could he repress his panic.
“Honey, haven’t you always wanted to cooperate with Eva? Why did you refuse?”
