That night, she stood next to his phone and he saw the suggestive message from Tatiana. Nervously, he glanced at her and tentatively asked what she was doing.
Looking back now, he realized she must have seen his chat with Tatiana, calmly watching as he stumbled through his lies.
So, she took out a document, the one claiming she had canceled the reservation. He originally intended to carefully read the terms to prevent her from being deceived, but when Tatiana sent him photos, he couldn’t wait to go fool around, hastily signing his name.
What happened after that? She insisted on accompanying him for overtime. Was she still clinging to some hope, wanting to keep him by her side?

Even when he was taken to the police. station, Josh remained dazed, murmuring, “Natalie, I was wrong, I was really wrong.”
No matter how the police questioned him, Josh remained lost in his world of regret. Only when he heard my name did he snap back to reality, “Do you know where Natalie is? Please, help me find her, I’ll pay anything, even my life. Please, let me see her again,” he pleaded.
My lawyer shook his head. “Sorry, Miss Ambrossia entrusted me to sue you before she left. She has paid the required fees. As for her whereabouts, I have no idea.”
The next morning, my mother–in–law received the news and rushed to the police station with her lawyer. She scolded Josh, “I told you, Natalie is a disaster. She killed her mother when she was born, killed her father later and now she’s disturbing our
Arkin Family’s peace!”

“At least she had the foresight to vacate the Arkin Family daughter–in–law position early, but that old woman is so unlucky that even in death, she brings us trouble! Don’t worry, Josh, I brought the most famous lawyer in the industry and they’ll get you

She kept talking, “When you’re out, we’ll start planning your marriage to Tatiana, or it’ll be embarrassing when she’s pregnant and wearing a wedding dress.”
My mother–in–law didn’t take the lawsuit seriously at all. She saw me and Grandma. as nothing more than ants.
Behind her, Tatiana couldn’t hide her joy. She lovingly stroked her barely noticeable. belly and threw flirtatious glances at Josh, “Josh, you need to pull yourself together. The child and I are waiting for you to come home!”

Didn’t I tell you not to tell Natalie about us? Why didn’t you keep your promise? Why
did you have to expose our business to Natalie? Leave, get out! I never want to see you again!”
Josh’s mother protected Tatiana behind her, “Josh, what are you saying? Tatiana only did this because she loves you! Calm down, let me and the lawyer work out a plan to get you out first and then we’ll deal with the future!”
But Josh became stubborn and began shouting at the police, “I confess, I gave Grandma a drink with sleeping pills that day!”
“It was me. I wanted to fool around with Tatiana and fearing Grandma would notice,
I locked her in the car while she was asleep! It was me who harmed Grandma. I’m guilty, I confess!” he shouted.
His mother stared at him in shock and
even the lawyer beside her was caught off guard.

Josh laughed manically, “Since Natalie. wants to see me punished by the law, I’ll give her what she wants! Natalie, is it that if I confess, you’ll come to see me? Natalie, I’m confessing. Will you come out?”
In the end, the Arkin Family managed to bail Josh out, which was entirely within my- expectations. After all, the bottle of drink had long since disappeared and there was no direct evidence to prove that Josh had intentionally murdered my grandma.
