“Will I see you again tomorrow?” Harry asked, unsure if he would ever find her again when he woke up, fearing that the ship would be gone.
She paused for a moment. “Really? Is this how you treat every girl?”
Harry chuckled softly and waved his hand. “Not really.”
Kate knew his next words and after he left, she lay alone in bed, reflecting on the
recent moments.
She recalled Harry’s face, feeling like she had seen him before, but couldn’t quite
remember where.
Today seemed to be the happiest day since. she left and that happiness came from the unfamiliar man.
She didn’t force any causes or effects, instead, she accepted that fate had its own

Kate’s plan for the morning was simply to go out and explore. After all, how could she visit Polarisia and not take the opportunity
to look around?
After finishing her preparations, she turned around and saw Harry. Today, Harry had specially styled his hair, which made his face look even more handsome.
Kate didn’t ask much, just greeted him softly and turned to leave. Perhaps seeing her dressed in an elaborate long dress, Harry spoke first. “Are you going out? I’m going out too. Would you like to join me?”
He was quite proactive, as if he had been waiting there for a while.
Kate was taken aback. Had he been waiting for her all along?
She didn’t ask the question out loud. If someone could share the same beautiful scenery with her, it didn’t seem like such

She didn’t refuse and together they strolled through the streets of Polarisia.
Harry looked at Kate‘ s smile, at her innocent and kind nature.
Although she appeared cold on the outside, for some reason, her smile always seemed to affect him.
As they passed by, they saw a homeless child. Harry immediately set down what he was holding and stepped forward, standing in front of the child.
He spoke fluent Polarisia language, simply asking the child a few questions before taking out a wad of cash from his pocket and handing it to him.
Kate watched his actions, stunned for a moment before realizing. “Did you give him money because you felt sorry for
him?”

daze. “Sort of. Because when I was young, I had a tough time too.”
Harry said, his voice carrying a hint of sincerity.
Having endured hardship himself, he always wanted to offer others a little shelter.
With his million–dollar watch and tailored designer clothes, Kate found it hard to imagine such a person having ever faced hardship.
It was an offhand remark, but it made Kate recall her own time in the orphanage.
Every time she saw a child alone on the street, she felt a pang of sympathy.
She wanted to say that she had been like that too when she was younger, but the words caught in her throat.
It felt as though the days of hardship weren’t just in her childhood. There was also the cold, indifferent Shawn Family.

Harry seemed to sense her mood. When she wasn’t paying attention, he bought a bouquet of flowers from a stand on the side of the road and handed it to her.
“These suit you,” he said with a soft smile.
Kate smiled, feeling a surprise she hadn’t experienced in a long time.
They walked along the path by the river and Harry casually mentioned his childhood. It turned out that he had also spent some time in an orphanage.
Before arriving at the orphanage, he had been a lost child, wandering alone for a long time.
Even something as simple as finding food was difficult for him. People looked at him, saw that he was physically healthy and assumed he was lying.
This remark made Kate suddenly realize. “You wouldn’t be… that little chubby kid, would you?”
