Chapter 22
They both stared at each other in disbelief.
No wonder Kate found him so familiar.
When they first met, it turned out to be at that orphanage.
The chubby little boy who had always. followed her around, was now standing
beside her.
She never expected that back then, he wasn’t even called Harry. After being taken by his mother, they never saw each other again.
No one could have imagined that they would meet again in a foreign land.
At this moment, their encounter took on a
new meaning.
Kate looked at the person before her, feeling like she had found a new companion. “Do you think this is fate?”

Kate.
After nearly twenty years, how could it not
be?
The word “fate” seemed to have gained a new definition.
Kate’s cruise had stayed in Polarisia for two months and it seemed that Harry had
also found his destination.
Perhaps for him, this was just a simple travel trip.
But he had met someone he felt was
important.
They got along very well, exploring every corner of Polarisia together.
It felt like the life Kate had always wanted.
She wanted the person she loved to be by her side. She wanted freedom and to live
without constraints.
But for the past twenty years of her life,
this had been so difficult for her.

Kate was speaking for the first time about her past experiences. Her tone was calm, as if she were telling someone else’s
story.
Yet the look in Harry’s eyes was full of sympathy. She spoke about the betrayal she had endured from the person she had been with for two years and from her own sister.
As she spoke, she began to laugh, lifting her gaze to Harry, unable to control her
tears.
“Do you think it’s ridiculous too?”
Harry reached out and gently wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes, then pulled her into an embrace. “I don’t think
it’s ridiculous.”
Kate froze for a moment. Over the past two or three months of talking, they had not just exchanged words but had also gradually entered each other’s hearts.
This was Harry’s first embrace.

Harry gazed at her deeply, his eyes filled with affection. Dressed in a custom–made suit, his broad shoulders and narrow waist made him appear even more striking.
“I really like you. To be honest, I haven’t been in many relationships. If you’re willing, I’ll let you manage all my money.”
Kate had never thought about managing someone else’s wealth. What she had always wanted was genuine love. Why
should she fear failure just because of one past setback?
She needed to face her own heart. She had feelings for the man in front of her.
Watching Harry stand nervously before her, clutching the bouquet with his hands. trembling uncontrollably, she smiled softly. “Then… shall we give it a try?”
As soon as the words left Kate’s mouth, Harry immediately let out a sigh of relief. He flashed a smile and lifted her into his arms. Kate believed that, at this moment,

However, just as their happiness seemed complete, a middle–aged woman appeared behind Harry.
“Harry,” she called softly, breaking the blissful moment.
Harry immediately snapped out of hist joyful daze and turned toward her.
