“Mom! You’re here!” Harry exclaimed, surprised to see his mother.
His mother looked Kate up and down, a gaze Kate was all too familiar with. It was the same way Hana had once scrutinized her, followed by sarcastic remarks.
Kate braced herself, expecting the same

But to her surprise, Harry’s mother said nothing. Instead, she stepped forward and took Kate’s hand, gently pulling her closer.
“You must be Kate, right? Harry’s been telling me about you in his messages every day,” Febby said with a warm smile. “Today is the moment when my son confessed, so I specifically came to see it.”
