But Elijah did nothing.

Instead, all through the night, Eleanor had the strange sensation of someone gently brushing her forehead.
She wasn’t sure if it was the fever clouding her mind, or if her desperate need for affection from her past life had turned into some kind of illusion.
The next morning, when she woke up, Elijah was no longer at her side. She felt an uncomfortable pressure in her stomach, realizing she urgently needed to use the bathroom.
She didn’t care about anything else and rushed into the bathroom.
What greeted her almost made her forget her urgency.
Elijah was in the shower.
Her first instinct was to turn and bolt out, but before she could move, the bedroom door creaked open. In a panic, she slammed the bathroom door shut.
Outside, Zoey’s voice floated in.
“Elijah, I made breakfast for you. Are you awake?
Eleanor bit her lip, unable to open the door or even look back.
She desperately tried to hide herself in the thick mist of steam, shrinking into the corner, trying to reduce her presence.
But then, something hot and damp pressed against her back. The reality she’d been avoiding
was here.
A wet arm slid over her shoulder, pushing her further into the corner, trapping her.
Eleanor’s body froze in shock. Her legs, still weak from last night, gave way beneath her.
Before she could fall, someone’s arms wrapped ghtly around her waist, his heated chest pressing against her back. In seconds, the thin fabric separating them was soaked, as though the last barrier between them had vanished.
The memories of last night flashed in her mind.
“How many times can you run?”

“Elijah.” She whispered his name, trying to regain some sense of control, hoping that calling him by his name would bring him back to his senses.
“Zoey’s outside, bringing you breakfast. You should go out. This is… not convenient.”
Perhaps it was the steamy bathroom air, but Eleanor’s face, which had been pale earlier, now carried a faint flush.
She wasn’t just anyone. Logan and Lily treated her with the utmost kindness, especially Logan.
He’d always made sure she had the best of everything, from a beauty card to skin treatments. She’d spent enough time with Lily at spas that her skin now glowed with an almost ethereal. smoothness.
Under the right light, she seemed almost otherworldly, radiating an irresistible allure,
But none of that mattered right now.
Elijah’s gaze grew darker, his breath growing heavier as he closed the space between them. His hands slid down her neck, sending shivers down her spine.
“Where is it not convenient?” he murmured, his voice low, dark.
Eleanor stared at him, wide–eyed. In their current state, there was no place that was “convenient.”
Elijah’s hand, which had been pressed against the door, now slid down her back, his fingers gently tracing the curve of her spine through the damp fabric. Her breath caught, and her mind went into a hazy whirl.
“Elijah? Elijah…” She whispered his name again, Her voice a little more desperate now.
From outside, Zoey’s voice came closer, calling his name. “Are you in there, Elijah?”
Eleanor’s body went rigid, sweat starting to bead on her forehead. The thought of Zoey walking in and seeing them like this was enough to send her into a panic.
Zoey, with her deep schemes and acting skills, would never let Eleanor off easily. And Elijah -Elijah always protected Zoey. She knew she had no chance.
Eleanor gripped Elijah’s arm, trying to push it away. “Please, don’t. You love Zoey.”
She hoped that mentioning Zoey’s name might snap him back to reality, make him stop,

But instead of stopping. Elijah’s hands slid beneath her clothes, his fingers tracing the sensitive skin of her back, igniting a wave of tremors.
He leaned closer, his lips grazing her car as he muttered, “A different flavor…”
Eleanor’s face burned with a mix of humiliation and anger.
In a desperate attempt to break free, she kicked the door.
A loud thud echoed through the room.

Zoey’s voice paused on the other side, and she knocked gently. “Elijah? Are you in there?”
Eleanor couldn’t bring herself to believe that Elijah, who loved Zoey so deeply, would let her see this–see them like this.
But to her shock, Elijah only let out a soft laugh.
The sound made her heart race, her fear intensifying. In her wide, terrified eyes, his face grew closer and closer, as if everything around them was collapsing.
It was the sound of tearing fabric echoed.
Eleanor’s eyes went wide as her shirt ripped and fell from her shoulders. She instinctively wrapped her arms around herself, but it was too late.
Her clothes were still in the dryer. Underneath, she was completely bare.
Without the barrier of her hands, Elijah’s touch became more insistent, more frantic.
His fingers traced her shoulders, his touch long, practiced, and powerful, each motion. deliberate and slow, as though to drag out her suffering.
It was as though he wanted to push her to the edge, making her endure every moment of this twisted dance of desire.
