Eleanor reeked of alcohol and her smile was very warm. It was not fake at all.

Julian put on a concerned expression and said, Eleanor, I heard that you’re withdrawing from the competition. It’s fine. You can just find a job. There’s no need to be competitive.”

Julian started crying again and said aggrievedly, Are you suspecting me? We’ve been good friends for so many years. Besides, your roommates have always been targeting you. I was the one who protected you and accompanied you. What if it was them?”
“Don’t talk nonsense. It’s already wrong to have a key secretly. You actually frame them. If they get angry and tell on you, you’ll be demerited. You will graduate soon. You don’t want to be given demerits, do you?” Eleanor said.
“That’s not what I meant. Julian was a little anxious.
“Well, give me back the key. If I throw it away in front of them, they won’t be able to blame you,” Eleanor said as she extended her hand.
Julian hesitated for a long time. In the end, she was still worried that she would be demerited and handed over the key.
Eleanor took the key and pretended that she had drunk too much. She started to talk nonsense, “My design draft is gone. I have nothing now. I’m finished…”
Julian supported her and smiled secretly. Then, she sent her back to the dormitory and turned to leave.
After Julian left, Eleanor sat up and handed the key to the other three to destroy.
Then, she sat at the table and began to draw her design. It wasn’t until three in the morning that she finished.

Eleanor smiled and finished her breakfast. Then, she went to make samples with her drafts.
Three days later, the day of the competition.

roommates actually blocked her path.
“Wait a minute, are you going to participate in the competition just like that? Zoey is wearing a custom–made gown. What if the judges don’t have a good impression of you wearing such a plain dress?”
Hearing this, Eleanor looked down at her own attire. It was a little plain, but the dress was
new.
Before she could retort, she was pulled back to the middle of the room.
Her roommates worked together to carry a large box. Looking at the logo on it, Eleanor was shocked. The Fashion Show’s gown.
“You guys went to rob?” she asked.
All three of them laughed.
“This was a package others gave you this morning, and we brought it back for you. By the way, there’s a card on it. Take a look.”
There was a white card under the velvet strap.
Eleanor pulled it out and opened it. There was nothing written except for the letter D.
Her roommate asked curiously, “Who gave it to you?”

Apart from Lily and Logan, there was only one other person in the Davis family who would treat her so well.
Lily and Logan were not people who hid things. She was just afraid that the two of them. would cheer her up with great fanfare, so she deliberately did not mention the date of the competition.

“This gown even glows under the lights in our dormitory. If it’s on stage, wouldn’t it be shiny. a lot?”
Her roommate’s imitated voice made her laugh,
“Stopping smiling. Hurry up and change your clothes. I still have to put on makeup for you.
An hour later, Eleanor was sized up by her roommates.
“You’re too beautiful. Eleanor, though I’m a woman, I am about to fall in love with you.”
