Chapter 59 Why You Laugh?
Chapter 59 Why You Laugh?
Eleanor chuckled sofily, finding it quite ridiculous.
Unsure of her reaction, the reporter asked, “Why are you laughing?”

Eleanor replied, “Do you know how many jewely pieces throughout history have used the sun, stars, and moon as their theme? So, may I ask, which designer did Miss Taylor borrow
from?”
The reporter was speechless.
Zoey pressed her lips together and reminded, “Eleanor, everyone is talking about this competition. Why are you bringing up something else?”
Hearing this, the reporter’s confidence surged, and they retorted, “Exactly! In this competition, only the two of you used celestial themes. What’s wrong with me asking about.
it?”
Eleanor calmly gazed at both of them and said, “Since you believe it’s an imitation, then tell me. Why didn’t I use the sun and moon, but specifically chose the stars and moon instead?”
The reporter was puzzled. “What do you mean?
Eleanor lifted her eyes to the camera and enunciated each word clearly, “The sun belongs to the daytime. It never belongs to the night, nor does it belong to the stars and the moon. If they are not of the same world, why should they be placed together?”
The scene fell into silence.
If they weren’t even from the same world, then the idea of imitation was meaningless..
Elijah turned to look at Eleanor. His gaze was terrifyingly cold, making one shudder.
Eleanor clenched her fists tightly just to keep herself steady.
She then turned to Zoey and asked, “Miss Taylor your jewelry piece is so grand, yet the sun element is barely noticeable. So, is Mr. Davis really that small in your heart? Such a faint light could never illuminate all things. Since you love him so deeply, shouldn’t you focus on the sun?”
Eleanor threw the question back at Zocy.
The reporters immediately turned their cameras toward Zoey as well.
“That’s right, Miss Taylor. Since you believe Eleanor borrowed from your work, why is the

sun element in your design so minimal?”
Zoey opened her mouth but had no idea how to respond.
Of course, she couldn’t answer. After all, the design wasn’t truly hers, and she had no understanding of Eleanor’s original concept.

Taking advantage of the reporters surrounding oey and Elijah, Eleanor turned and walked
away.
A cold gaze followed her like a shadow.
Backstage.
Eleanor packed up her things, ready to leave.
Suddenly, a bouquet of flowers appeared in front of her.
“Eleanor, congratulations.”
Eleanor lifted her gaze and met Jaxen’s warm and gentle eyes. Taking the bouquet, she couldn’t help but smile. “Thank you, Jaxen.”
“I’ve reserved a place. Let’s go celebrate?”
“Okay.” Eleanor nodded. After such a tough battle, she was indeed hungry.
Jaxen smiled and naturally took her bag.
As Eleanor lowered her head to look at the flowers, Jaxen suddenly leaned in close.
“Don’t move,” he whispered.
“What’s wrong?” Eleanor asked in confusion.
“You have a ribbon on your head. I’ll take it off for you.”
Jaxen gently reached for her hair, his fingers gliding through the strands. His gaze softened as
it shifted, and before he could stop himself, he leaned in slightly to smell her hair.
Noticing his sudden closeness, Eleanor’s face flushed red. She quickly raised her hands to cover her head. “I… I forgot to wash my hair. Does it smell weird?”
Jaxen chuckled softly. “No, it smells good.”

“Jaxen, you really know how to joke.” Eleanor was quite embarrassed.
“Let’s go. My car is parked by the side entrance.”

“Mm.” Eleanor walked side by side with Jaxen, instinctively tucking a strand of hair behind
her ear.
It was a small habit of hers whenever she was feeling shy.
From a distance, Elijah watched, his lips pressed tight, a dark aura surrounding him.
With a click, he lit a cigarette and took a deep breath before slowly turning around.
In the hallway, the event organizer knelt on the ground, his mouth covered by Avery.
“Mmm… Mmm…! Mr. Davis, I was wrong! I really was wrong!”
Elijah stepped forward, exhaling smoke. “Didn’t tell you to keep it fair? This is how you please me?”
The man frantically nodded, desperate for mercy.
Elijah glanced at the cigarette in his hand, then pressed the burning tip straight into the man’s forehead.
The man writhed in pain, his eyes rolling back.
Elijah stepped past him and walked away.
As he exited the studio, Zoey ran toward him in front of everyone’s eyes. Dressed in an elegant gown, she looked like a princess rushing to her prince.
People stopped to watch.
Among them was Eleanor, sitting in Jaxen’s car. She gazed calmly at the perfect scene of at prince and his princess.
Jaxen chuckled. “Who would’ve thought that someone as cold as him would spoil a woman like that?”
“Yes, didn’t expect that either.” Eleanor nodded staring at her reddened fingers, lost in thought.
