Chapter 74 Embarrassment
Chapter 74 Embarrassment
It was very funny for an adult to fall into the toilet.
To make things worse, Julian fell on her excrement.
One of the nurses laughed accidentally, unable to contain herself.
The lead doctor’s face flushed, but his professionalism kept him composed.

Julian fidgeted, her face flushed. “I, I have diarrhea, she explained, “because I can’t tolerate lactose.”
Eleanor nodded. “I understand. I thought you might have eaten something that disagreed with you.”
Julian’s face paled, and her hands clenched tightly as she stared at Eleanor for a long
moment.
It was not until Julian confirmed that Eleanor did not know anything that she secretly heaved a sigh of relief.
Eleanor was so gullible. Julian assumed that she was unaware something had been added to the milk before the competition.
Eleanor had only managed to avoid the disaster by sheer luck.
Julian regained her composure and said, “Eleanor, let’s not discuss this right now. It’s best to let the doctor examine you.”
“Okay,” said Eleanor.
Eleanor calmly asked the doctor to check her eyes.
Julian was even more enthusiastic than the doctor, wishing she could personally check Eleanor’s eyes.
“Doctor, will my friend’s eyes be alright?” Julian asked impatiently the moment the doctor lowered his hand.
“Doctor,” Eleanor interrupted when the doctor was about to speak, “I know my situation is complex. I just want to know if I’ll recover if I fully commit to the treatment.”
“Try to relax,” the doctor reassured her. “Your emotions have been all over the place. Stay positive for the next few days, and try not to get worked up. The treatment will be effective, I’m sure of it. Otherwise, no one can help you.”

“Thank doctor.” Eleanor heaved a sigh of relief in front of everyone and rejoiced. “Fortunately, there’s some hope.”
After the doctor left, Julian stood silently with lowered head, pondering the questions that had just filled her mind.
A moment later, Julian approached the bed and aid timidly, “Eleanor, I have some good news to tell you.”
“What is it?” Eleanor asked.
Julian raised her voice. “I’m going to Mandy’s studio for an internship too.”
Eleanor was slightly stunned.
Lacey jumped up and exclaimed, “Why? How did you get in too? I thought only Eleanor and Zoey entered Mandy’s Studio through the competition.”
Julian shrank back, clutching her skirt awkwardly as if someone had just bullied her.
Julian said, “I–I just happened to have this opportunity, I wanted to give it a try, but I didn’t expect I got the chance.
“Eleanor, don’t be angry, okay?”
Julian cried with an innocent look.
Violet glared at her. Julian! Stop it! Didn’t you hear the doctor? Eleanor can’t be upset right now. Aren’t you making her feel uncomfortable by saying such things at this time?”
Julian whimpered, “I’m just lucky. I don’t have to work as hard as Eleanor. Once her eyes recover, we can work together. How good that will be!”
Eleanor’s heart shattered with each word she spoke.
Julian’s words meant to upset Eleanor.
Lacey clenched her fists tightly as she heard.
“Congratulations, Julian, this is wonderful news! Eleanor said with a laugh. “I’ll be sure to fully cooperate with the treatment so we can work together sooner.”
The corners of Julian’s mouth twitched. She wanted to laugh, but she couldn’t.
Eleanor smiled and asked, “Julian, why aren’t you saying anything? Am I wrong?”

Julian said, “Yes, that’s right. Then you should cooperate with the treatment. I’m going to the
washroom.”
Julian spun around and hurried out of the ward clutching her phone. It looked like she was going to tell the others.
Lacey was indignant after Julian left, saying, “It’s unfair that Julian joined Mandy’s Studio.”
Violet pulled the blanket closer and fumed. “Her grades are even worse than mine! Why would Mandy choose her?”
“Don’t worry. The studio offers other positions besides design. If she were a designer, she would have said so, Eleanor said.
Eleanor’s expression was not solemn.
Knowing Julian for two lifetimes, Eleanor understood her deeply.
After coming back to her senses, Eleanor continued eating her breakfast, occasionally complimenting Julian.
“You all know me so well, Eleanor said. “This is all my favorite food. I think I’m going to feel better already.”
