Chapter 8
I heard the sound of the dagger piercing the flesh.
Chapter 8
Paul acted swiftly. Having mastered MMA, he
spun around and grabbed the man’s hands,
securing them to a nearby bicycle with handcuffs.
The man kept kicking at the wound on Paul’s back.
Paul’s face was pale, and large beads of sweat broke out densely, but his grip didn’t weaken.
The man just shrugged and laughed indifferently.
“Mr. Bradley, please shoot me! Even if it means my death, it’s worth it. Your wife and child’s live are more valuable than mine, so how can it not be worth it?”
The case made a major breakthrough.
The killer’s information was pulled out.
Chapter 8
Paul silently flipped through the information
in his hand.
The killer was named Rudy Gill, also a member of a criminal group.
At first, Paul was able to predict all of their moves with his incredible intuition, which ultimately led the criminal group to a dead end.
The criminal killed half a year ago was Rudy’s younger brother.
He came to take revenge on Paul.
Just because I was Paul’s wife and was
pregnant, he started with me.
Rudy was caught and locked in the
interrogation room.
To avoid suspicion, Paul could only watch

from outside the interrogation room.
But Rudy maliciously smiled in Paul’s direction.
“Mr. Bradley, you’re watching, right?”
“I heard you haven’t found the first crime scene yet? What a bunch of wastes! Haha, Paul, can’t you guess or don’t you want to guess?”
Paul just had a crazy thought and his whole body went nuts. He was really trying to keep it together, even though he was digging his nails into his hand and making himself bleed. Billy stopped the interrogation.
“Paul, what did you think of?!”
Paul, like a lion in a rage, lost his sanity. He rushed out wildly, running in a stumbling
manner.
Chapter 8
The way home is short.
But Paul fell five or six times before he got
home.
He stood at the door of his house for a long
time.
His hand holding the doorknob kept twitching, and his knuckles turned white from exerting too much force.
With a creak.
The door opened.
This was our bedroom, the place where I died.
The bedroom door was not closed.
Large patches of dried blood were clearly visible.
Billy and the other officers who followed

behind arrived panting.
I heard the sound of gasping.
“How could it be in Mr. Bradley’s house?!”
“This blood stain…”
“Was the initial crime scene at Mr. Bradley’s residence, causing a significant delay in our investigation, only to be solved today?”
Yes, the crime scene was so close to Paul, why didn’t he discover it?
